Winter 2022-23 photos & videos

Pics from the plane today... Not sure what was different but I've never had the opportunity to take these sort of shots before.

Often wondered whether it would be viable for a company to provide pleasure flights which circle Ibiza and Formentera? Maybe there are some? Or is Ibiza airport simply too busy to even think of that?

I'm sure my old folks took me on a pleasure flight around the Isle of Man once...!

What a stunning Boxing Day today! I had always been jealous of posts by @stivi & co about swimming on Xmas Day in Ibiza, so it was a delight to actually swim (fully submerged!) in Salinas today. Only Jockey Club was open, but it made for a pleasant lunch (pan con tomate, mussels & vino blanco. Prices seemed cheaper than in the summer - is this standard in winter?

Stopped off at Playa den Bossa beach before sunset. PDB was unsurprisingly a ghost town but the beach looked rather lovely. No sign of building work at the Jet Hotel and there seemed to be a new development beside Hard Rock Hotel, where the tennis courts used to be.

Drove to Es Vedra for sunset and the car park was PACKED. Felt like in summer with lots of near vehicle collisions. Not sure if this was due to it being a public holiday, or if sunset there is always extremely busy, even in winter.

Blimey! I had heard of this previously from a friend but hadn’t put 2 + 2 together,
