Who Remembers Jeremy Healy?

I think most of us do. But what is he doing now? He is still DJing but at some lesser known clubs. Seeing the "Cream without Paul Oakenfold" made me think about what some of the ther big time DJs from the mid to late 90's are doing now. I know for example a lot of people slated him at the time, but he entertained me. Was he really that good or just hype

Jeremy Healey was cheese personified  vastly overated, spent most of the time coked up to the gills waving at the crowd wearing the most hideous clothing.. but sure on occasions he played an ok set:lol:

he is playing monthly at boujis in london.... not sure what style of music as this is members only rich kids club as far as i know!!

i was a big jezza fan back in the early 90's  and was only playing his fantasia mix cd on friday night at some random point!!! it did sound a tad (!) dated and cheesy but he was a fun dj to go and see, dodgy checked suits aside, at club 4 life at the gardening club in 1992-4.

do remember some great sets including michael jackson, nirvana, dan hartman and le voie le soleil !!!!!

just shows you how your taste changes with time....

i was thinking/wondering what happened to tony wilson who used to play the downham tavern / fascination raves back inthe early 90's he was a legend!!

do remember some not so great sets always including michael jackson, nirvana, and dan hartman

I think the highlight of the last time I was unfortunate enough to catch him was realising that the bloke burbling about 'too many shrooms' and swaying from side to side on the dancefloor was in fact crazy-hatted funkster Jay Kay!

last time i caught one of his sets was a Cream Classics night in Glasgow

barely any "classic" tracks played by him - mostly more recent "big choons" inc that Daft Punk remix of Franz Ferdinand!

is amos still with lisa I'anson..............you couldn't think of two bigger nobends to be together if you tried.

jezza's myspace still has all his gigs on................does he play in watford all the time or somethin??

He was constantly on the rota for my friend's club night years and years ago I remember mostly that he stank of sweat constantly - he always made a lunge for me as I tried to swerve the DJ box - got caught out twice and felt like I needed a good scrub after - urgh - cringe...

Still - have to say - had some rather good nights to Jezza many many many years ago.... in his Clockwork Orange Days....

i was a big fan of him back in the day. I remember billy jean being thrown down in Cream main room. stunning. that kind of thing NEVER happens nowadays. Does it? or do i just go the wrong places.:? He DJ'd at garlands in liverpool i think sometime in the past couple of years i think.

Who else is missing in action? Taul Pall? Wasn't Junior Vasquez the biggest DJ in the world at one point? Boy George (albeit he is a road sweeper now!)? Any others?!

a hell hole i believe. Chine white, met bar etc et bloody cetera. eton, oxford, goldman sachs, bonus time daarling lets have a champagne fight kind of place. if your there then i would guess you are dead as a musical force. prob a rare example of a dj with less readies than most of his audience?

Oooh that's a blast from the past. Remember their failed year in Ibiza ('99) - I used to quite like the promoter (think his name was Roman ?)

I remember them, but I never went to them. I preferred my Northern Clubbing back then  Never liked the moody Londeners
