wow! i woulda been 11!

i all started for me with happy hardcore (as for a lot of us norrthern monkeys, it seemed to be big in stoke, birkenhead and preston & that was it) at club kinetic. Awesome days:) wonder what happened to sy, brisk, mc connie and the gang. prob qualified as accountants and boozing in boijis!

We always wanted to go Tall Trees, but decided it was just too far for one night. I couldn't even imagine travelling past Watford these days :lol:

In fact I can't believe the distance we use to travel for just one night. The journey home was 8O

Did anyone ever go to the services near Leceister? (after clubbing) 8O 8O 8O

Yep - and Tamworth who used to let us set up a radio cassette in the cafe (then we all got banned)

omg yes i did but only once it was tooo freaky!
 
i remeber being driven round and round the M25 in search of various acid/warehouse parties listening to centreforce radio by my older sister. this is my first recollection of any type of clubbing really!!!

i managed to do the whole acid house era without realising drugs was involved at all..... it totally went over my head as i was very young to be doing such things 8O

also anyone go to shakavara on new years eve in curtain road shoreditch i think - in about 1994/5 i could go on for hours on this back in the day bo***cks!!!!!!!!!

Bothering the normals was fun - ahh the heady days. Though how I managed to drive home sometimes without killing myself / my friends in the car / other random road users / the strange old people that feel the need to roam the streets at 4am walking their dog when you think they'd have so much time on their hands they might as well be in bed ....................I'll never know - luck was on our side.
