just wondered how many of the contributors on this board actually live in ibiza and what do you do over there?? :?:

Me :D

I'm a journalist who writes mostly about technology and business for UK newspapers such as The Scotsman, Indy and Guardian. I also edit content for a website which will be launching around Easter, but it's all very hush-hush until then.

I've written a bit about the island, but not much. I don't really want to get caught up in the whole celeb spotting or Uncovered thing.

Fortunately, I can work anywhere that I've got broadband and a phone line. I research online and interview people on the phone. My phone in Edinburgh, where I lived until last April, diverts straight here. So if it wasn't for Telefonica's ring tone nobody would have any idea that I wasn't in Scotland. ;)

who lives in ibiza

I've lived in Ibiza for three years now, Have been working for the ibiza sun newspaper for nearly two of them. But I'm now retiring at the ripe old age of 50 at the end of this month , to do absolutely nothing but enjoy life in Ibiza.

Third post down Biff. How could any mention of people living in Ibiza go without a mention of you?

and a cultural commentator - a man of rare talent

I think it's great that his initials are also what he does for a living. Almost as if he was born to it.

So ok, I live here too.
In San Lorenzo, with a shop in Santa Eulalia, and a new one to open in Ibiza town this summer.
Looks like the next few weeks are going are going to spent painting the place. :?

I envy you all... especially given the meter of snow we've got on the ground.

I've been thinking of relocating to the island for over a year now... but is there something to do in Ibiza for a PR guy with minimal start-up capital? (and I don't mean handing-out-flyers PR! :D )
