Thanks for info : good to hear from someone thats been there and nothing bad to say ). I guess we were hoping torre del mar a bit more chilled for the full week with easy access to ibiza town and transport links for exploring then garbi for the shorter stay where it will be more intensive partying . I see you have booked for ibiza town that be quality for sure enjoy ) 20 years going to ibiza now on and off enjoying this end of town recently with salinas & es cavallet along the road and less taxi fares for clubs . Wondering if destino worth a visit and if so best days etc. Anyone ever been opinions appreceiated

Both are spot on mate.
Both are spot on mate. You can chill easily at Garbi as well. The hotel itself is relaxed. And the bar is decent.
Wife put her foot down for Ibiza town. However I'm really looking forward to it. Make a nice change

Both are good hotels, Garbi slightly closer to PdB but in all honesty you're talking 5-10 mins closer than torre del mar. I've not stayed at Garbi but passed it everyday when walking to/from Torre Del Mar, seemed a lot livelier than TDM so it depends what you want from your hotel. couldn't fault TDM, could always get a sun lounger there's an outside bar to get snacks/drinks easily without having to go inside. The breakfast was good (although we only made it for food twice in a week but that was our own faults!) we had the most amazing sea view, loved seeing that everyday! The room decor was modern and updated recently, but my biggest positive was the room aircon, it's the best aircon I've ever had in Ibiza!
As for destino, I've only ever gone for the parties and would highly recommend it! I believe you can pay to use their sunbeds but I didn't make it over early enough to do this. Each time I've went it's been a Thursday, I'm not sure if they still do something on a Sunday but it used to be a really popular day party.

Hostal Tarba - Looks like a great hotel for the price with great reviews and superb location. Right ontop of bus station, next to a 24hr shop and 5 min walk to the beach

Been 4 years since I stayed there, but I rated it. Bargain. And great location.

might upgrade to sea view (we saved 100 /head for mountain view but not quite the same appeal) , good aircon in August will be brill. From Scotland here to (Edinburgh). Think Destino now for sure ; your feed back amongst other says its good. Guess it depends what events are on there in August.TVM

Hoping to get Café Mambo radio 1 and I will definitely do Elrow at Amnesia so if you end up planning on doing either of those let me know!
Good to hear - Looks to me like it has had a recent refurb. I ate there randomly while passing one day and the pizza that cost 8euro was amazing!
It also has free parking which is a bonus as I plan on getting myself on two wheels for half the week to get about to the nicer parts of the island

Ibiza Opening not really booked but
i will be in Ibiza from may 22 to june 5th as holidays have been confirmed this morning by management..I will hang with french couple, as last closing 16 (so not a lot of place free for ibz rides, 1 at least , so better book your seat
)
I will add later (have to spread 2 2016 rest days because of policies before end March ) 2 to 4day as i plan to land may 19th in ibz for OCB opening & june 6th or later upon best flight ticket deal prices
One good new from yesterday, a veteran Spotlight(who didnt post anymore for ages
) mate ask me to join his pack early august as last year,so i will plan Ibz august the 2 first weeks, the plan was to spend 2 weeks with @Nobbie Q (sorry u should plan august 
) in july but got so many mates that choose the worst period (Ita spotlight bloke ((its always good to have a "casanova" in the team ) met here, that know now, who to follow 
, as willing to plan ibz only if i go & other (always a good choice to have a girl in the team ,no more 
) Ita girl too (met ibz aug 16) willing to join my/our pack)
Saving 2 weeks(i wish more but company policies force me to spread 5 days rest the week before new year eve

IBZ 17 Im Feucking READY! & this year will be far FAR better as i wont spread so many € in parties that sucks, as ibz 2016 (unless mates insist again (No Feuk Music on & even u pay my ticket 60-70€ i wont go ANYMORE!!!!)

I'm off again second week in Sept, family holiday this time as it's my daughters 18th so her and her mate want to go and experience it. So no big night outs for me and the Mrs this time. My daughter wants to see Craig David at ibiza rocks and Martin garrix at ushuaia. I'll stick to the west end lol.
