When I was living in Australia, I absolutely loved watching sport. I was a season ticket holder for my beloved Sydney Swans aussie rules team (who inconsiderately waited til I'd left the country to win the permiership), went to a ton of rugby union matches and I also played touch footy for my corporate league.

Watching the game last night reminded me how much I love getting involved, but I don't know which footy team I should support! So which permiership team should I pick?

Most of my mates are Chelsea supporters, and they're a London team, so could just follow the crowd..
I like boro now cos they have a couple of Aussies on the team..
I like Liverpool because they have Harry Kewell :) And I like red
Arsenal for putting up a valiant fight last night and cos my gf supports them.

Vote vote vote

Don't follow the crowd.
If your bird follows Arsenal probably makes more sense, but Id say Liverpool out that lot.

don't like liverpool for harry kewell cos we all hate him and hopefully he'll be gone after this summer.

i say support chelsea...........jump on the bandwagon and follow the crowd.

(as long as you realise that you will be slated for it constantly whenever you profess to support chelsea, á la morbyd);)

can I tempt you over to "the darkside"??

www.mcfc.co.uk

we had danny tiatto and danny allsopp once ;)

failing that, Liverpool is a good bet..... but I would look at where you live and who your local team is? even if they are in the lower leagues, you will get more out of going to games of a lesser team than following a more established team from your sofa. I make up for not going to go see my beloved Blues by going to see Welling United as their ground is at the bottom of my road :)

 Don't support Chelsea Marky otherwise you'll get the same fake Chelsea jump-on-the-bandwagon tag that Morbyd has

I'd say support Arsenal if your girlie supports them, I don't support Chelsea but I take enough of an interest in them cos Tom does and it makes my life a whole lot easier

Haha yeah I thought I'd get branded a bandwagon jumper if I took up with Chelsea! Don't think my gf is that passionate a Arsenal supporter so less of an issue plus it's fun to support different teams sometimes (provided neither side takes it toooo seriously ;) )

I think Liverpool has it so far :) :)

Jjinit I live in Farringdon so I have no idea who my local team is!

That would be Arsenal then....you could do worse...face it if you do go for them then you have a chance of seeing them now & then, with Liverpool it would be harder..and thats where the joy is...going to the games!!! :)
