And maybe a few other UK towns for festivals/clubs etc :)

- Tampa again for Christmas

I was just reminded of that Chris Rea song, "The Blue Cafe":
Where have you been?
Where are you going to?
I want to know what is new
I want to go with you
What have you seen?
What do you know that is new?
Where are you going to?
Because I want to go with you

random. I know.

Hey... do places to which you can drive in a couple of hours really count?

Tampa??

Michael Jackson loves going there!! ;)

Not on his own though JJ.........
First I've heard of it. Haven't run into him, thankfully.

It's an involuntary travel destination. My parents live there now. Moved down from Washington because dad doesn't like the winter anymore.

Riga, Latvia rocks! I had the best time in that city. Went there on my annual "you must leave Russia to renew your visa" trip in 2002. Partied for 4 days straight, including Sunday and Monday. I visited a couple of cool underground clubs playing tech-house and bigger clubs playing pop and generic house but they are all right around the old city or a short taxi ride away.

The people were totally nice - I met some clubbing folks and got invited to a private birthday party at one of the clubs within 24 hours of arrival.

And Latvian girls are gorgeous. ;)
