i agree, i think it's because of your anticipation about the night ahead :D

thats one of the reasons, its like right, a beautiful has ended and an amazing night is to come. its like when the sun goes down within 10 mins its pitch black and all of a sudden ibiza has turned into a totally different animal. that period between about 6-11 is also quite a strange atmosphere, i think because the anticipation starts and then it just builds and builds. when i worked there, that was when i'd typically start work so it was like the start of my working day!!

But like so much of ibiza, its difficult to describe why something is amazing.

Great pics maccie :D .

I remember my first sunset in Ibiza, in June earlier this year. Amazing. But personally for me, the couple of sunrises we saw were so much better. It's just so peacefull and quiet, you can reflect on the night past, and it's a refreshing experience too, kind of preparing you for a new day of partying!!

Gorgeous pictures! I have the same sort of pictures from my terrace at the Fiesta Hotel PDB. When I first checked in I wondered why there were vinyl blackout curtains on the terrace doors, and the next morning I sure learned why fast!

I love sunrises - sunsets are sad because the beauty of the day is gone! The club nights are fun to look forward to but I like to think of beginnings with light, not ends.

And if you want to see a nice sunset try Las Salinas from one of the coves. Bring a flashlight, though!

dunno how to share my sunrise from pdb but they're on on photki account and they're pretty damn good if I say so myself!8) 8)

since i started going to ibiza i've become a total sunrise/sunset fan. love watching them here in Dundee. Dundee lies along the River Tay, so you get some pretty smert ones here.

I'm definitely a sunset fan... especially in Ibiza as it means the madness is about to start.... sunrise.... although very beautiful there's always that sinking feeling for me too that the nights over:cry:

im usually a wobbly wreck by that point. last sunrise i sat and watched was round by cafe mambo and i was nearly eaten by these horrible little flea things :?
