Incidentally - seeing the sunrise, whilst listening to Dave Seaman do the business at El Divino opening in 2002 remains one of my ibiza "moments to treasure".....MILES better than the sunset.

Heh... I remember on our first trip to Ibiza after one mashed night @ Eden, me and Jonathan going to the sunset strip with loads of drink and fags, waiting for the sunrise
Needless to say we were waiting a long time 8O

As a general rule, the sun rises from the East, sets in the West. Maps normally face north towards to the top. So take it from there :)

Don't forget the moon rises from the east as well! pay attention just before the moon is full, it will rise as the sun sets. The it will rise approx. 40 mins later each evening, and that's a beautiful sight over the sea from PDB.

i remember last year me and my girlfriend sitting on the balcony after a night out watching the sun rise over the hills at the back of san an. (our hotel was at the back)

I think sunsets are about antisipation for a good night ahead(has as nbeen said)

Sunrise is all about reflection of the night you just had and chilling.

Personally i love sunrise cause its so peacefull and ive usually had a fantastic night if im still up at sunrise!!!

I'd like to post a sunrise pic from the balcony of our hotel-Fiesta Hotel Playa D'en Bossa. I haven't posted a pic yet, can someone tell me how?

Oh, Okay. I guess my pic(s) have to be on a webpage then. I was trying to paste directly from my harddrive ;)

now its an old one but my 2ps worth anyhow.

in ibiza, i've viewed hundreds of sunrises and hundreds of sunsets and had some life changing, everlasting, emotional, unbelievable memories and moments during both BUT never once has any sunrise ever come close to sunset. If i was to do a top 10 of both, i doubt there would be one sunrise in there.:D

in fact whereever I've been in the world, sunset has always been better than sunrise
