What's the weather like at the moment?

Rain should be moving northwards this afternoon - could be the end of the worst of it but then again it's not moving away particularly quickly. Fingers/wellies/ponchos crossed.

I did and will do.

Was already starting to drop when we wandered up to Figueretes about 1pm. Still pools of water to negotiate at points until we got to the beach walk bit and trainers would get soaked. Sports utility sandals squelchy but better

No standing water here and quite nice sat with a beer.

Hope to be in that very spot shortly; hope those clothes shops along the main street weren't flooded, I'm looking forward to a good mooch round. Is the old "Chaos Bar" open; could be my first pint unless I have one at the airport waiting for the bus - which reminds me, anyone know if they are running normally again (lust seen one pass on the San An webcam)??
 
Numerous linea 14's came past while up drinking in Figueretes. So assume the airport bus will be ok as well.

Going to be useless again and have no idea about Chaos Bar 😬


Seen some Portinatx videos which seems to have had a lot of damage. Petit Arsenal looks to have been washed out of existence...☹️

S'Arenal Petit, S'Arenal Gran, and El Puerto have been massively destroyed.
 
We left saturday 11th flight at 3.30pm.... at 4am that morning / friday night was the most intense thunderstorm ive ever heard or seen...
Was like explosives going off like 30 meters away the crack of the lightning was that loud... We assumed theres no way we would fly back that day.....
Sun came out and was a scorcher most of day till pretty much our plane left.
Our mate still on island got the government warning to stay indoors and indeed the road to his place got blocked by a mini landslide that night.

L9 San Antonio to Airport was no problem today.
 
A lovely afternoon sitting with tinto verano at Vive. Chill and a decent ending to a few days of chaos. Although we missed getting soaked luckily.

Early doors flight and hoping December will treat us better on the storm front!
 
It's been wet enough to soak Seth Troxler's records apparently. Not sure if the IG post where he is apparently offering a whole 10 euros an hour to help clean and dry them is real
