So what actually happens if the power's down for a long time, people have meals etc and no cash, if the power's down cashpoints will be down too? In the old days we used to have a swipe-and-print - copy for them, copy for me - but I bet those are obsolete these days!
As all the electricity and even 5G was down, we couldn't even pay via PayPal or bank transfer online.
We promised to go back today to pay (which of course, we will) but they did look at us as though they didn't want us to go without paying, even though they know we are local.

I found it unbearable from 3pm onwards. Last night was really humid late on. Roll on winter i HATE the heat when at homeEven here in the UK was glad of my portable air-con last night; although the temps are good but not exceptional for August here. It is very humid though which makes evenings uncomfortable!
