Power cuts in San Antonio tonight as in zero lights on or electricity / internet (not even 5G) anywhere, besides TRS Hotel which I assume has its own generator.

Paying for the bill without enough cash was fun!

So what actually happens if the power's down for a long time, people have meals etc and no cash, if the power's down cashpoints will be down too? In the old days we used to have a swipe-and-print - copy for them, copy for me - but I bet those are obsolete these days!

As all the electricity and even 5G was down, we couldn't even pay via PayPal or bank transfer online.

We promised to go back today to pay (which of course, we will) but they did look at us as though they didn't want us to go without paying, even though they know we are local.

They could hardly hold you hostage until the power returns! Although if Hostal La Savina's power went down I think I'd volunteer to be hostage overnight, with their wine and that view!!
