What's the weather like at the moment?

We are dry like a desert in Frankfurt area since weeks. Didnt remember the last rain ( 2 weeks ? ).

There was a thunderstorm on the previous Sunday. I remember it well as I had to flee from it on a bicycle 🤣 Not much water overall though.

Flying to Ibiza for the coming weekend, the weather forecast doesn't look THAT bad...

Ahh , last sunday. It feels like 4 weeks ...

No the weather looks not that bad , but its not summer heat. Maybe its the best for chilling and sitting outside at the day.

Temperature is not rising next 10 days in Ibiza. Not more than 20 to 23 degrees. Wonder when the beach weather starts ( 25 plus )

Water temperature is around 19.2c which is spot on average, so when the summer does arrive the sea should heat up quite quickly - for me it needs to be 24c which is around late June normally; swimming pools heat up quicker of course!

Water 24c is summer. Air 24c and more permanently is early summer. When will we see it this year. Thats the reason for me not to go earlier than june. I want summer if Im in holiday ( I know about the beauty of spring in Ibiza ).

The water temperature is around 20 ,21 degrees at the moment, this is completely normal at the beginning of May, when the air warms up, the water always takes longer to warm up due to the difference in density, the last 2 years the winter was warmer but the water was barely 1.5 degrees warmer at most! It’s from now on that the water will warm up! On the other hand, when autumn arrives, the temperatures will drop but the sea remains warm until late October!

Last year , end of july , 31 degrees ( first 10cm of deep ) was a record
 
Couple of miserable days. Girlfriend moaning about the lack of sun but I’ve been ropey both days so it’s suited me well ;) Looks a lot more promising tomorrow - really late flight so she’ll get her wish of a full day in the sun.
