What's the weather like at the moment?

quick update here, for now it looks like we're in for a pretty 'wintery' holiday season here on the balearics. currently it's grey, it rains a little here and there and even though we might get some sun too in the next days, the long term forecast predicts a probably wetter and for now also cooler christmas period than what we're used to normally - if the forecast is right, daily high temp might be only around 12ºC or during the last few days of the year which is quite chilly.

as usual, we'll see how it all pans out in the end

Looks very grey and cool right now; my next trip might be early March when daytime temps aren't particularly high (15-18c normally) but should be gorgeous in the higher sun. Might be Ryanair's first or second flight out of the season from Manchester (a Manchester which is bathed in 100% sunshine right now I will add...!).

Flu epidemic in the UK I believe, but hasn't Ibiza had a bug problem all year? If so, why? I've noticed since the heyday of covid, a lot of the disinfectant dispensers in public/bar toilets have either been empty or aren't there at all; maybe that should be revisited if that's the issue?

The people that I know from work that have the nasty one (H3N2) they are floored for 1+ week in bed. I'm trying hard to dodge that one.

it might be wet way beyond the weekend by the looks of the forecast. don't think it's gonna be flood type rain like we had in autumn, but still, next monday looks very rainy right now.

I think in all of spain a lot of people are sick again - it's early in the winter for the flu wave, but then again since covid everything's a little different innit (let's please not start an entire covid discussion again now tho eh)
