Giving the new Saint Etienne album a listen. Not really a band I've kept up with past the 90s, but it seems it's had some good reviews. Quite Balearic/ chill so far.

I saw them live in Brighton just before we left with Scritti Politti supporting. I think Bob Stanley is a very good writer/journo, but they were always just a bit too 'clever' for me and musically cold. Obv that Weatherall remix is still an all-timer and one of his finest.
