No easy listening as Human League ( also some good tracks ) , but its a pleasure to hear them. Is there a party in Ibz who fits to this sounds today ? In earliet days I heard sometimes CV

* Btw If any of you watched the (fantastic) BBC krautrock doc, did you notice how pissed off those guys were with Eno? Basically accusing him of stealing some tapes from them and copying their ideas to make music with Bowie

If you find one let me know! I think Paradise Lost have (had?) a synth/EBM flavoured night. Keep an eye on their listings
there were a lot of good bands at this time.
In Frankfurt we had the Technoclub in Dorian Gray ( at Airport Frankfurt ). Talla and others hosted it. Technoclub also was in Ibiza ,saw some flyers , cannot remember where it was.
Did they play EBM at this time ? Never heard DAF in Ibz ...

I would love to have experienced Dorian Gray, read about it at the time - could never believe it was in an airport!
DAF were quite big on Spanish underground (mainland). very influential, a lot of overlap with italo which was huge
We had some good Clubs in Fra Area: Omen , DG and some others. Gray was not bad , a lot of DJs konwn from Ibz played there. Sven started his career at Gray and other clubs ... For me Friday ( Techno Club) was the best day. Saturdays it was a little like Ku in Ibz : Big show , similar sounds. Soundsysten phantastic .Today maybe I would prefer Saturdays. Hard Bouncers at this times at the Saturdays.
Omen : Also a Vaeth thing . But too long gone all this.
We live in the future , not in the past. Think about today and tomorrow ...

I live in the past because everything I knew and loved is dying or retiring or disappearing. Hardly anyone I know goes out anymore. There's maybe 3 music bars/clubs left where I live aimed at people like me (and who knows if they will survive?) Does feel like the last days of Rome.
Same , but going out if there is something which fits to me. Same in Ibz
Hope that some things survive where I can go.
