So you have the monopoly on light-hearted banter?!

Look, calm down, you know what I'm like.

This is just Dan's unique way of saying he doesn't like he use of that word, and you shouldn't either.

Jeez, and I'm the one doing you a favour...

haha gotcha!!;)

(yeah but surely making fun out of the use of that word is ok, yes??:? )

Dunno - I half expecting the police to call up as the 999 call was made from Phil's phone as a follow up - so assuming he was dealt with on the scene when the ambulance turned up - God I hope so - what a come down that was.....

Things only get worse got in last night for a relaxing night after first day back at the office to get this (copied from a mail to a mate this morning) ......

"Got home last night to the thoughts of a bath, early night with my book and a relaxing evening full stop. So Phil and I sitting in the lounge having a relaxing ciggie when Phil said “What’s that noise?” I replied – “it sounds like the wind in the trees outside” Phil “It sounds like the boiler making a weird noise”…

Cue Phil walking into the kitchen screaming Oh My God!!! Water pouring through the kitchen ceiling over the table, he runs upstairs to find the pipe that runs from the mains into the toilet cistern had come away and water was shooting like a gueyser 8 foot in the air, the bathroom floor was about 2” in water, the office carpet was drenched, water cascading down the stairs, we managed to turn the water off, clean up but we were drenched the house is a tip and this morning, all the laminate flooring in the bathroom is lifting, the carpets in the spare room and stairs are ruined, the kitchen ceiling is a total mess and we have no water, no heating and worse still, no toilet until the plumber can get to us this afternoon– AND the upstairs piping is under the laminate flooring which will obviously need to be lifted to get to – bloody nightmare.."

4am this morning when we finally got to bed!!! They say bad things come in 3's - I am dreading what's next on the Agenda!!!!! Thank god for house insurance - hopefully means the kitchen and bathroom get redecorated (definately due for a tidy up) and new flooring upstairs..... its just the drying out process that's a pain...
