Yes, I've been fantasising about a group b___ review session all weekend! 8O :? :lol:
 
fri - Claire met me at work for some cheapo drinks in the agency bar, then said she didn't feel well (the office has the same effect on me somethines!) so we went home and watched telly until 11pm and went to bed!

sat - Went to the Tate modern as Claire hadn't been before. Tried to defend modern art as a concept and seemed to succeed somewhat :lol: Had our friend over for dinner and cooked a roast, drank wine, had a cheese platter and watched Napolean Dynamite for about the 15th time ;)

sun - Worked on my next Magnum Opus while C studied, then went to see Walk the line - not a bad film at all :)

Hoorah we managed to have an entire weekend off! Next weekend will be a rather different story though muhahahaha ;)

Well we wouldn't have to hold so many b______ reviews if Naddyz and Stuie weren't such disobedient b_______ :roll: :lol: I mean it's 10.30am and Stuie still hasn't checked in with the rest of the flock, time to get the files out again :lol:

It's a real sense of achievement isn't it, we've managed 2 consecutive 'grown-up' weekends and I feel all saint-like :lol:

I try to be obedient, but sometimes I just relapse into pre-b_____ naddyz mode :spank:

Next wkend is going to be far from sensible :lol: My best friend and her hubby are celebrating the first time they've been able to get funked for a year so we feel it's only right to join them on this special occasion :lol:

Fri - was all about kenny dope at the end. Took a while to get going this night. Was still fairly empty come half 12. CJ mackintosh was on 12 - 2 who i was really impressed with. Liked his set a lot.

Kenny played 2 - 4 and he obviously isn't used to playing just a 2 hour set, as he tried to squeeze in a few too many styles, but the tracks that he did play were really good. Jungle Brother's to name a few. Can't really remember what was played but it was all good.

Great to spend time with russ, rob, erin, karen, and ben.
 
It was my best friends birthday, went on a bar crawl had too many horrid shots of **** and then proceded to wreck my house instead of going to a club. I don't remember much but my nose keeps bleeding and I shouldn't have been driving still this morning, in fact i'm lucky i arrived here at all :lol:

Ive noticed that with The End, it gets filled up really late. Dont know why because theres always a big queue by 11... The bouncers must take an age to search people in that club.

Did nothing worth mentioning.

Yeah, Al arrived a bit after us and said he'd queued up for an hour outside - it wasn't even that busy in there by then :roll:

I think they should definitely have had CJ play after Kenny Dope and DJ Gregory beforehand. CJ played an excellent set - I was really impressed considering I'm used to seeing him play the last set in a club 8) DJ Gregory on the other hand was a bit dull after Kenny Dope.
 
agreed, it did seem very quiet till bout 1.30, and then the end was pretty empty by bout 4.30 ( maybe coz dj gregory was boring everyone to tears). cj mackintosh was excellent

think im gonna give the end a miss on Fridays coz, i miss not being able to get a bit of chill space in AKA, and the crowd are a bit moody too, there were a few too many grim guys who keep their coats on all night and lots of cokey-snooty women.


still had lots of fun though and was great to see TeamRobo.

It's not as bad on a Lawler night but I do remember there being quite a divvies around on that one too :roll: It's the sleazy guys. I found there to be many more in here on a Friday than I ever see in Ministry on a Saturday.
 
Fri: Went out for my leaving night from work. Started off in a really nice bar with lots of folk from work. Then...must have drank far too much cause the next thing I know I wake up in bed the next day fully clothed, with shoes on....and with a bit of toast beside me:lol: :lol:

Sat: Went into town for lunch and shopping with a few mates. At night, went round to a mates house for dinner...lovely8) :D Great having friends who are so good at cooking! At night, it was another mates sisters 18th birthday, so thought it would be rude not to attend. What can I say....girls did not look that good when I was 18!:lol: :lol: Great, great night;) 8) :D Ended up staggering home about 6am I think.

Sun: Chilled out with all my mates from the night before, then had another lovely dinner cooked for me:D Had a really good laugh on day, and didnt actually feel too rough.

Started new job today and it went really well, nice laid back atmosphere and everyone seems really nice. Best weekend in ages8)
 
Still f***ked... made it to work but I reached a whole new level of wrongness this weekend - I have never laughed so much and had so much fun in a club ('specially Turnmills) as I did on Saturday/Sunday - going to sit in a spare office by myself for the rest of the day because I cant cope with anyone asking "how was London then".....:oops: :oops: :oops:

I have lost at least 6hrs of the weekend......:lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:
