Weekend Rundowns

my turn:D:D

this weekend I haven't done anything that is worth to read about. Just stayed at home because alternative planns wasn't very tempting or I wasn't in the mood for them. I have read a lot, watched tv, surfing the net and some house work.
relaxing weekend:D:D, just feel very fresh to start this week

Friday - Came home after work and lied about for a bit. Set out at midnight to have a few drinks with a couple of friends at this artsy bohemian bar which turned out to be the beginning of a drunken 5-venue night of bar/club-hopping. Ended up with me slumping in a booth at Starlite Diner while my hungry friend devoured a cheeseburger in achingly slow fashion. On the upside, dawn is coming earlier these days so spring must not be far away

Saturday - Didn't venture out of the apartment until about 6:30pm for a run to the electronics and grocery stores. Made some chicken and fettucini alfredo for dinner. Tried to no avail to clean some viruses off my desktop computer.

Finally went out around 2am to meet some guys over at club Fabrique (which appears to be my current default club choice this year). Good crowd and decent music from the residents. Closed out the club and went home.

Sunday - More work on my computer (still mostly in vain). Went with the missus to the sports bar for Chelsea v. Colchester.

This weekend I have mostly been laughing, getting drunk, organising Ibiza and getting back to normal for the first time in months. :p I feel great and care free. :D
Oh and we are about to book Ibiza!!!!!! yay.

Went to pick up my VW which has been in restoration for about a year...

And now it's finally home :D :D

Will be in touch about the logo soon Chewie ;)

Jammy's gone and pimped his ride!

Fri: Was meant to have a quiet night in, but friends came round for drinks. The guys decided to hit the town and the girls stayed in. Did a few late bars then dropped into Plug for a while. It was Metropolis night whatever that's all about but the place was HEAVING!! All 3 rooms were full to the rafters. Way too busy to enjoy so went for something to eat and home. I think the newly extended Plug could be one the all time great UK clubs. Brilliant venue with an underground feel.

Sat: Got up early, drove to London. Did what we had to do and drove back home. Few drinks, then bed.

Sun: Had a lay-in, went to gym for an hour, food shop then spent rest of day on new laptop bringing everything back up to date.

Today: Despite drinking too much over the weekend - feeling pretty good! Getting up wasn't the easiest thing in the world but managed to drag my arse to gym for a weights session.

:D

Friday: went to see basketball cup with friends, Barça lost in the last quarter :? then went out for some drinks

Saturday: bbq with lost of drinks and smokes. Managed to get to Barça by time to see a glorious 5-1 8) Then went to the odd 52 for drinks and got home around 3

Sunday: helped my friend with the moving

Fri - my Mum, Dad, Gran and Grandad were down so we went out for dinner, drank wine and just did nice family things.

Sat - Tom was at work so me, my mum and dad went to the view the house that Tom had viewed on his day off in the week, Tom said I would totally fall in love with it and he was right, OMG how perfect in every way, I just want to move in there NOW  Went clothes shopping and then had a call from the estate agents who we're selling thu, we only officially went on the market at 9am that morning and they still need to come round take photos etc but they had someone who wanted to view it so fingers xd things could be happening quickly :D Went out for drinks with the intention of going to see Brokeback Mountain but the pub was much more appealing (so failed miserably on my 10th attempt to get to the cinema  ) On the way home we went and walked past 'our house' and Tom being the toerag he is ripped the For Sale board down and hid it so anyone driving past won't think it's on the market and get in there before us

Sun - went into town, did a bit more clothes shopping, then met Jon, Bec and Alex at Carter's pub in Islington for the bestest veggie roast and bloody Marys. Then went and watched the football and had lots of vinos and got home late last night.

Friday: Was forced to stay at work late, left at about 7.30 and went to the pub for a few drinks, then back home to watch crappy telly and a movie

Saturday: Bit of essentials shopping during the day, then cooked for my housemate in the evening before heading out to a bar for some cocktails and then onto simple vs slide residents party at this little club near me (basically a tiny little dirty room), had mucho fun and then decided it would be a good idea to have a load of people back to mine for an afterparty...

as soon as we got back at about 3.30 my other housemate came down and told us to turn the music down as she was trying to sleep and got us to move into the kitchen rather than the sitting room which is below her room. Apparently she came down another couple of times to tell us to turn it down again, but I didnt' see her. Eventually at 6am she comes into the kitchen and in front of everybody screams 'why are you doing this to me???!!!' and bursts into tears shouting at everyone to get out... 8O 8O 8O ( )

I managed to clear everyone out at about 9 and we didn't speak at all on sunday...

sunday: got takeaway pizza, stayed in dressing gown all day :? , avoided hysterical housemate

Looks like you'll be moving into the bunker as well then!

Are you going to grovel or have you decided she's a hysterical freak who needs a pair of these at weekends?

I haven't grovelled, I did grovel on the night but I also told her she was hysterical and tightly wound... I'm sure things will be fine eventually, I'll just act as if nothing has happened once we've tidied up. She is a hysterical girl, what she really should have done is called the police   secretly

Forget Debenhams, Purves & Purves etc etc...Brick Lane market is fantastic for those small designery touches!
I found the nicest pendant light shade you've ever seen in your life for £20...went to an overpriced high street branch and saw exactly the same one for £96!!! 8O 8O 8O

Oooh - cue lots of interior design and house buying grown-up threads!!! :D :D :D

I'm absolutely rubbish at interior design so I'll try and make sure most threads about it are ruined as usual

very exciting that you've already found a nice house! Still worried about no holes barred b___ reviews, it's always stuie and I that are getting them and I worry about the lengths of b____o___'s nails :? (see what I'm doing here, skillfully moving the conversation topic away from interior design?)

But the great thing about Brick Lane market is that you can get REALLY posh interior stuff AND cheap tat/toys/t__ fodder all under one canopy.
They're clearly targeting our sector! (What should we call it? ABC___? - oh dear, I've been brainwashed by work. :?)

It's not me that wants no holes barred b_____ reviews, it's Robder, he gets a perverted pleasure from seeing his fellow b________ squirming in a b______ review
