Weekend Rundowns

I always go to O4 N8 - went to Niche on the opening night but its the wrong end of town for me! How come you know about Niche? :D

Friday - stayed in, very boring.

Saturday - shopping in the day. Drinks in Oxford then jumped on the bus to London for Defected @ Pacha. Never been to Pacha before. Thought it was OK. It was far too busy, no room dance at all, no where to sit either. Music was good, although I would've prefered the DJ's to have played individual sets rather than back to back/10 mins each. Thought the crowd was odd. A lot of beer boys. Even got my arse pinched
I got hammered so it was all good!

Sunday - slept, ate junk, watched TV & slept some more.

Friday: meeting the spanish members :D
Saturday: recovery and then met a friend for some shopping and drinks at Gracia.
Sunday: Meet Pep for lunch then spent the rest of the day in the sofa

Oh right cool - I don't tend to hardly ever go out on Fridays - we go to O4 because get on the guestlist and don't have to pay!! :D

8O

I think we should definately write 2005 off as a bad idea.
It's just been a catelogue of disasters hasn't it?

I'm pleased to see the throwing game is still one of the favourites!

I think we took the throwing game a bit too far, it was a scene of total devastation 8O

Btw sorry for the Maria texts on Friday night/Saturday morning ( :? I appear to have lost all concept of time over the wkend), I was trying to sound menacing

I know that you Laandoooon types think that these peeps day has passed but it was an absolutely cracking set. For non-Arches goers, the Playroom is a 200-300 capacity room with nothing in it except a temporary stage with decks jimmied up there and bare lighting - perfect for the NDSM sound, no need for a MOS gloss on things.

Not all laaaaandon types think that. Last time I went I thought it was still very good. You just get loads of fickle people down here ;)

Sat: Dusted on sat was great fun. Much busier than usual. Oliver Lang + the ElectricSex DJ's were on top form. Off to The Key after where I saw the Sharp Boys play a decent set. Bumped into X-amount at one point too 8)

Friday: left work early and went home to get ready to go out. Joey went to pick Simon up and bought him around to ours. They both quickly popped over to broad street to pick something up. I was left to my own divices at home with stuff I shouldn’t have been left with waited impatiently for them.

Got to Bambu for around 10pm, que was already around the block, skipped over to the guest list que and straight in. Was absolutley rammed to the rafters, lots of moody girls and I have to ask myself why im there again.

After party back @ ours, got to bed at 6am and didn’t go to sleep until about 3pm because the builders were outside making a noise. Watched a lovely old film about a cat with that mills bird in it, we got up at about 7pm and watched x factor.

Sunday: Woken up by builders again!!!, not happy. Went into town for a little stroll and then popped to old orleans for dinner and over to moms where I fell asleep on Joey

mini-ibiza reunion in hull (first and last time) went to watch steve lawler, he was ok.....................

does he ever wear anything other than that horrid off white t-shirt/vest type thing.

Since I got my wisdom tooth yanked out on Friday, that pretty much sealed the weekend for me.

Friday Dealt with pain while watching TV.

Saturday Dealt with pain again. Watched College Football, Adam Sandler's Longest Yard, and a Jet Li and Morgan Freeman movie whose name I do not remember.

Sunday Watched Lords of Dogtown and It's All About Love (Claire Danes and Joaquin Phoenix). Watched some more TV, chatted with folks on der spotlight and capped off the evening by watching Rome (the TV series on HBO).

Speaking of Rome, do you guys get that series these days? If so, what do y'all think about it?

I got into saying "Y'all" when I was a student at UT Austin.

But here is the funny thing. In TX, "y'all" can be referred to one person, but "all of y'all" is referred to more than one person.
