I know it's way early, but, Im leaving for Mallorca at 5am and I wanted to beat Morbyd for once only

Fri - Gig was slightly better than average. Afterwards visited the nightclub that's after my DJ services to see if the owner had a better offer. He wasn't there and the club was barely quarter full, not very inspiring. They had a mobile DJ on who was rubbish, he was playing.........oh forget it, you don't wanna know. :?

Sat - Good gig very busy late on. Accepted the bosses proposals but told her that the music will change to more clubby stuff (House :D ). Then went to Shindig @ Digital. What a fantastic night, Danny Rampling's retirement tour. :D He was on fire and the place was rammed. Tremendous!...........and I was being attacked by a very fit young blonde with loadsa lip action! 8O Whoa, she was gorgeous! 8O Must of been drunk. :?

At the end, when on his second last tune, I was on the landing next to the DJ booth when I saw this guy coming up the stairs and I thought 'He just looks like............nah it can't be........this is Newcastle'. He walked past me to the DJ booth and I turned to look again. Just then he caught my eye, and I pointed at him with a big grin on my face, he smiled and came straight over to me and shook my hand and said "How the hell are you?". Believe it or not, it was our very own DJ Gee Moore from Bora Bora!!! 8O 8O 8O He said he had just done a gig in Newcastle. Jeez couldn't believe it! Anyway, Danny had to do 'one more tune' and ran about 20 minutes past closing time. He then got on the mic thanking the crowd for a brilliant night and went on about the sound system saying it was the best he'd ever worked on, and in the best House club in the country. He came over while I was with Gee and they entered into conversation. I heard some very interesting things, but, cannot divulge what I heard. What a mind blowing night!

Sun - spent ironing & packing (well chucking a couple of T's & jeans in a bag  ), etc. ready for tomorrows trip. Was asked to work at my other gig, but, decided to abort it and go out for a couple of beers instead. :P At least I'll get home earlier. Now, where's the Berocca?

So much for my 3-hour time advantage! Sounds like you had a killer weekend. Have a good trip to Mallorca and say hello to Juana for me ;)

3-day weekend for us Muscovites. Here goes:

Thursday - Got home from work, made dinner, listened to the first 45 minutes of Mark Sun's radio show, then off to Propaganda for their traditional Thursdays with top local DJ Sanchez. Ran into random friends here and there and attempted to consume ALL their beer. Top night. Home sometime between 4 & 5am, I think.

Friday - Spent the day at home, began editing my Jo'burg video. In the evening, the missus and I went to a new Czech restaurant (mmm good :D) then off to a new bar/club called Bar No. 1. Good atmosphere, nice people, music a little cheesy but a good time overall. Started to fade after too many beers and dragged the missus out sometime between 3 & 4am, I think.

Saturday - Another day at home... worked on my video some more. Realized that Jose Nunez is playing NEXT weekend and decided to skip Anthony Pappa because of the venue. Instead, the missus and I went to see Roisin Murphy at Club XIII. Can I just say that her performance was AWESOME :D So much better in an intimate club setting that when I saw her in the spring at an outdoor concert. Robder - be jealous - I even got to shake her hand as she reached down to people in the front :D :D :D Afterwards, while the band was packing up, we went across the street for drinks than back to Club XIII where Roisin and her band were partying with the crowd. I met her basist (and pre-show DJ) Quadjo and danced next to Ms Murphy. What a night :D

Sunday - More video editing (it's a long process... with lots of cigarette and Internet breaks  ). Then off to the sports bar for Man U v Chelsea  . Now home, back into the video editing but taking a little break.

All in all, great weekend. I tried to drink all the beer in the city but they apparently keep making more

Oh dear, you know when you have the bestest intentions of grown-up plans for the wkend and then they go horribly wrong due to cirucmstances beyond your contral :? Plan was civilised dinner and drinks with Jamie and Rach Friday night, head home Saturday lunchtime, out with Tom Saturday night before a lazy day at home Sunday watching the football.

Reality was get round to Jamies after work still with the bestest of grown-up intentions, unfortunately by this point Jamie had spent most of the afternoon in the pub and his minx levels were thru the roof 8O After some pathetic attemps at resistance on mine and Rach's part we decided it was easier to obey Jamie  and before we knew it Naomi, Katie and Esther were paying us a visit. After lots of wrong shenanigans headed out about midnight and ended up in Trailor Trash (lots of fun but very hazy :? ) and then back to Jamies where Katie made another (big) visit :? 8O

The next 12 hours are very wrong and we're still having trouble piecing them together, we do know we:

- went to Highbury and walked some dogs (no they weren't ours :? )
- Jamie climbed some trees
- we turned into horses 8O
- threw lots of furniture around :?
- we went on a 'cruise' (fortunately we took seasick tablets before we boarded  )
- played the throwing the phone game in the park with Jamie pretending to be a dog and finding it and returning it in his mouth :?
- probably got a few ASBOS  8O
- Rachel became the Queen of England (I was her ladieee in waiting/Arch Bishop of Canterbury and Jamie was the Royal Physician :? )

At some point Saturday afternoon we lost the plot completely  and knew we had a few hours before Tom (our Guardian Angel  ) came round so set ourselves little 'projects' to focus on  Example projects were making a boat out of matches in a bottle (we failed that one as we didn't have my bottle blowing kit  ), find Rachel a King, and eating so many crisps we exploded 8O

Yes it was as wrong as it sounds :? Tom got round Saturday evening with 'presents' and to look after us, unforunately he was playing the catch-up game so before we know it our Keeper was in the same wrong state as we were  Passed out sometime Saturday night/Sunday morning and had a sleepover at Jamies, woke up alive which was an achievement in itself so went to Cru for brunch/Bloody Marys and then went to our old faithful Jams  to watch the footy (well Tom watched football while we minxed around and planned being roasted by the Chelsea team :? )

One of those wkends that just wasn't meant to happen like it did but sooooo much fun

Fri: Quiet night in because I was working late

Sat: Worked all day, then quick dash home to get ready for the night :D Firstly, made our way to a mates wedding reception. Got very drunk very quickly, then witnessed one of the best fireworks displays I've ever seen on the front lawn 8)

Left about 11ish, then into town to meet up with folk for a mates 24th birthday. Becomes very hazy from here, but ended up meeting a really nice girl in the club ;) Went back to an afters, but decided to call it a day by 6am cause supplies were running low.

Sun: Woke up around midday feeling much better than normal for a Sun. Must remember to come home from afters at a reasonable time...it does the world of good  ;) Chilled with mates in the afternoon, then went out for dinner with my Mum and Bro

Fri - headed out with Laura, her parents and her sister & hubbie for a slap up dinner then back to her sis' flat to bid it farewell before they move

Devoured a very rich starter, massive main course - tempted by the tiramisu i was relieved to hear that they had run out, then the waiter came up with a huge plate of the lovely dessert

Result - absolute agony as i felt like i was going to explode.

Sat - few beers in the pub then onto the Rangers game where they were dire again!

Chilled out at home before jumping on the train to meet my mate for a trip to Colours @ The Arches

First time at The Arches for a wee while and i wasn't disappointed.

Front Arch had Smokey & The Bandit (missed them) Plump DJs (caught about 45 mins of what sounded like a great set) & Bodyrockers (only heard them in passing enroute to the toilet)

Main arch was Jon Mancini (missed), Sister Bliss (ok but not my thing) & Sander Kleinenberg (intended to pop in to hear him more but ended up just being there for the last few tunes)

Majority of the night spent in the Playroom for Nastydirtysexmusic.
I know that you Laandoooon types think that these peeps day has passed but it was an absolutely cracking set. For non-Arches goers, the Playroom is a 200-300 capacity room with nothing in it except a temporary stage with decks jimmied up there and bare lighting - perfect for the NDSM sound, no need for a MOS gloss on things.

Reports of Smokin Jo doing very little work on these nights was unfounded. Yes, Tim Sheridan did more of the night but Jo put in plenty of time on deck. Tim was bouncing about seemingly loving the good atmosphere and appreciative audience.

NSDM in Glasgow worked a treat - I left a very happy bunny

I was left to my own devices for most of the weekend - 'twas so sensible its not worth relaying it..... didnt even listen to any music over the weekend in case I was seduced and ended up at Danny Rampling.... after last weekends two day bender it seemed like a good sensible grown up idea... (and I didnt have a dog sitter..... :( )

Suffice to say I was at work for 8 this morning feeling bright eyed and bushy tailed..........

Friday - Grown-up evening at the National Theatre with the husband...although the play turned out to be quite dark and twisted with a plot that centred around dead babies and child slavery. 8O

Saturday - Went shopping for Pushca outfits and got somewhat carried away. Eventually we rocked up at the super secret venue (shhh!) decked out in very kinky leathery rubbery clothing and frankly got pi$$ed off by the paparazzi tourist types. "Can I have a photo please?" "No, funk off." We've also got a new toy - a life size crow called Conran. We've decided we're never going out without a crow again and are wondering how we ever managed to get by without him.
Next week, we're going to get another one and are reeeeally looking forward to taking our homophobic crows to Beyond for a test flight. (We're going to make it our mission to ANNOY as many of the gays with the new crow game as possible. :P )
Anyway - Pushca...still without doubt the most creative club in London (with the exception of Torture Garden, Kashpoint etc of course). FANTASTIC production which has to be seen, heavily themed, loads of trashy stilt walking trannies...but unfortunately sh!te music and too many wannabes trying too hard on far too much c*ke. (Robder no. 1 pet hate = c*keheads - grrr.)
Also - loads of pervy blokies who thought they were the dogs bits sidling up to women in hope for a desperate post club sh*g - very sad to watch. ...but the women were even worse!!! F*cking load of desperado "Please pi$$ off and don't touch me because I'm far too gorgeous (but loving the attention so cary on please while I stand here quivering)"
Anyway - Pushca really is an amazing night out - can't reccomend it enough because of the sheer *wow* factor.
A good crowd but not nearly as cool and music driven as the Shoreditch lot...I suppose you could liken the night to the UK's answer to Manumission, only with more costumes and less beer. 8)

Sunday - Played crow games all day.

Today - Day off. :P

I think we should definately write 2005 off as a bad idea.
It's just been a catelogue of disasters hasn't it?

I'm pleased to see the throwing game is still one of the favourites!

Friday: drinks with work then watched telly at a friends. Fell asleep on the sofa, woke up hungover. Had been out on thursday so was completely knackered.

Saturday: Did a bit of shopping before heading to the parks to watch a firework display which was really good, the hugest bonfire I'd ever seen!

Out for drinks before heading to a tiny little club where Norman Jay was playing, was an absolutely fantastic night, drinks were far too cheap (just over £2 for a double vodka coke :D ) so ended up dancing on the stage   Norman Jay delivered a great set, haven't had such sweaty fun in a long time. Crowd were amazing, the place was full when we turned up at 11 because everyone was so keen to see Sir Norman.

sunday: slept/ate fried food

Oh God I remember that docco (was it brass eye???) fookin hysterical!

"quiet" weekend for me.

apart from the f***ing fireworks being let off constantly all sodding weekend.

why???? when we've got a proper display on in town?

was like living in baghdad.

Fri - went out - total waste of space!!! Place full of Weirdos - one in particular kept asking me what i did at Uni - when I said I hadn't been he looked at me in disgust! Total *beep*!!!

Sat - Spent day shopping and stayed in and watched X Factor etc - was invited to firework display - but not really into all that!

Sun - Woke up feeling fine and refreshed! What a great feeling! Relaxed in morning then helped my friend out with a uni project in the afternoon.

Friday - went round to my friends house, her mum had cooked a feast as it was Eid, had some lovely curry (very hot 8O ) and relaxed there for a while, then home for an early night.

Saturday - Got my hair done in the morning, actually happy with it! :D Gone back to my roots (blonde ;) )
Went to a friends fireworks party in the evening, OMG they'd spent £500 on fireworks, most of which were proper display fireworks, not meant for use in a garden lol. They were enormous! The whole neighbourhood lit up, god knows what the neighbours must think lol

Sunday - Spring cleaned Jon's flat, then cooked a nice roast followed by chocolate mousse :P Then watched "An Officer and a Gentleman" - the way Sundays are sposed to be :D
