Weekend Rundowns!

Fri: Made my way to Turnmills after puppylover said she couldnt make it.
My membership had ran out so I queued with the commoners  Never again.. nearly one hour waiting!!
When we eventually got in we realised we'd missed most of Nick Warren. Tongy came on at 2 and played a much harder twisted set than he usually plays. Music was spot on but the room was a bit too busy.
Made it to T2 at the end of the night to catch someone (Might have been Eric Prydz). He was really good too. The room was still full and rocking at 7.45 when we decided to call it a day.

Sat: Saw Barca win :D
Sun: Saw Real lose

Barbie, I would rather have gone to see Behrouz + Wally Lopez than bloody Space!!! I think Paul and Rach chose wisely, had it been Type on the other hand...

Why didnt you use my guest list - I said it was up for grabs - you could have just ignored the commoners and walked to the front!!

Ferd, what an amazing second half :D :D Messi is a bomb but did you see Ronaldinho? He seemed motivated as never, probably he wants to reassure his position now we have Messi 8) 8)

Fri: Hidden launch party, then spectacular reverse pike off the wagon, landing in bed about 3pm the next day. Slept pretty much until this morning!

You'll be pleased to hear that I promised Paul that I would definitely come to Type in the next few months as he came to Ministry so looks like there's no way I can get out of it now   ;)

November is a definite no but keep me posted as to December ;)

Thanks Barbie for the link D :D :D , I looked this site before but I wanted to have a personal opinion of someone that had experienced it by themselves because it's looks really nice but wanted to know if it is just a touristic thing to do or what!!!, thanks and get ready for my 1000 questions when the date gets nearer and nearer ;) ;) ;) ;)

I'd say it's a 'nice to do' but it wouldn't be top of my list of things to do as a tourist, it's expensive for what it is and The Ritz can be very snooty.

this is what I thougth it migth be, so depending of my planss at the moment I would probably give it a miss. thanksss :D :D

Was it a business meeting? Did you choose the place? 8O 8O
Yes, it was. I chose it for 2 of the 3 meetings. The first meeting chose it for me.

Personally I could think of better things to spend £35 on

I've only been there for business meeting and you do get quite a lot of people having meetings there over tea, a few ladieeeez who lunch and a lot of American tourists

Mikkak if you want to do the afternoon tea thing then personally I think that Claridges is better- less tourists and it just feels a bit more 'authentic'.

I have to clarify. We drank tea. In the morning. I did not actually go to the afternoon "tea", though the menu looked nice.

The Ritz is a nice place but I don't think it's so super special that you've got to go there.

By the way, Mikkak, one of the pairs of shoes I bought in London last week were Campers. I found out that they are all designed on Mallorca :D
