Weekend Rundowns!

No Fridays is their new Switch night mow which has replaced Smoove, Jo Mills and co were on Saturday night for Saturday sessions.

Fri - met Bec for a few post-work spritzers, Jon and little Erick joined us for a bit and then me and Bec decided to be grown-up ladieeez and go out for dinner, altho somehow managed to lose my hat in the process 
Sat - bit of shopping (bought replacement hat for the one I'd lost previous night
), then I wrapped some Christmas presents up and wrote some Christmas cards 
to amuse myself til Tom got home from work. Tom had found out the day before that he had got promotion at work and in 2 wks time will be managing his own office so celebrations were in order 
A few glasses of champagne and then headed into town to meet Rach and co for a few pre-Ministry drinks. Lots of wine and then Rach, Paul and co were meant to be going to The Cross, however they saw the error of their ways (take note Ferd 
) and by 11pm we were all heading to Ministry Music was excellent all night, Jo Mills was very secretsundaze-ish and Wally Lopez and Behrouz were on top form. Left Ministry and popped into Rach's for a few wines which somehow turned into a whole day drinking sesh, eventually got home at 9pm last night, mine and Tom's vow to go straight home after Ministry failing miserably at the first hurdle

Irina says "hello" by the way. She's sorry she did call but she had a week-long course of intensive shopping therapy that left her pretty knackered by the time evening rolled around.
I always do my Christmas shopping early cos I hate shopping in December so by the time December comes and people are trawling thru the Christmas crowds I've done all mine and can concentrate on clubbing and drinking wine There is some logic in my madness honest Hello back to Irina, that's fine, I had a pretty busy wk as it was last wk, def see you both again soon

I can certainly understand wanting to avoid London high streets before the holidays... they're packed enough on regular shopping days! (though I picked up 2 suits, 3 pairs of shoes, and 4 shirts on this past trip )Will definitely see you soon
(and hopefully better rested and more lively next time!)

My membership had ran out so I queued with the commoners Never again.. nearly one hour waiting!!
When we eventually got in we realised we'd missed most of Nick Warren. Tongy came on at 2 and played a much harder twisted set than he usually plays. Music was spot on but the room was a bit too busy.
Made it to T2 at the end of the night to catch someone (Might have been Eric Prydz). He was really good too. The room was still full and rocking at 7.45 when we decided to call it a day.
Sat: Saw Barca win
Sun: Saw Real lose
Barbie, I would rather have gone to see Behrouz + Wally Lopez than bloody Space!!! I think Paul and Rach chose wisely, had it been Type on the other hand...
My membership had ran out so I queued with the commoners

Friday: went to a friends for dinner, ended up watching the shining and freaking ourselves out.. early night at about 2am
Saturday: a bit of shopping for stuff to decorate the house with, bought some canvases and paint and made myself some 'modern art' to stick up in the sitting room. Actually seem to have found some creativity in me after all 8)
Then I got a call from a friend insisting I came to london, so I reluctantly agreed and went out for dinner and then on to freedom in soho then shadowlounge. Finally topped the night off with a trip to Beyond - this was supposed to be my quiet weekend in, so annoyed I checked my bank balance at midnight and I'd been paid sunday morning... so finally got into bed at home at about 1pm
SUnday: Slept/recovered from beyond
Monday: taken the day off work because I'm 'ill'
