Me and Tom were determined to have a 'grown-up' wkend cos we've got 3 wkends of carnage ahead and then Ibiza..................

and we succeeded 8O

Fri - resisted all temptation to go to The End to see Danny Rampling, Tom cooked lovely meal and had a few wines.

Sat - Tom was at work so I made Ibiza lists  went shopping for Tom's bday presents and wrapped them up. In the evening went out for a Thai, drank too much rose and found an orange pole (a sister to the infamous purple pole  )

Sun - nice lie in, woke up with bit of hangover (starting to realise that 'grown-up' wkends don't agree with me ) Headed East at lunchtime and met up with Jamie, Robder and Louise, were going to go to Secretsundaze but we're sooooooo over Secretsundaze   Had a few drinks in Hoxton Square, went to the ever faithful Jams  and watched Chelsea v Arsenal, cue a a very happy b/friend, few more drinks in Hoxton Square, a bite to eat and home.

All in all a very nice civilised wkend but I'm bored of being a 'grown-up now, bring on the Bank Holiday carnage   :D

Carnage on Friday with carnage loving friends - excellent!!

Little bit of Carnage and DVD's on Saturday - most excellent!!

Relaxing Sunday sunbathing, eating, drinking, reading, relaxing - even more excellent

Weekend rating 9/10........ 8)

Roll on BH!

very civillised!!

sat- bluewater, bought some new crystal chandelier type lights for lounge & dining room, had a spot of lunch, cried as I looked through the new gstar collection  knowing I cant have any of it

sun cleaned house top to bottom, laid in garden for a bit, had dinner at in laws, then home to watch sin city, which packed up just at the end of the "mickey rourke" bit....fookin copy dvds

I too was planning a quiet weekend...

Fri night - nothing

Sat - worked on a new tune
Sat night - nothing

Sun - Really lovely day walked up from Farringdon to Tower bridge, across it, then back down to the tate modern, had civilised coffee by the thames.. decided to go to brick lane for a curry.. was 5.30 and a bit too early to eat, so we popped in to 93 Feet East for 'one drink'.

Dammit! So close yet so far.. rolled out of there at 11.30 absolutely trolleyed with big grins on our faces - great music and an amazing crowd!!

Friday - Took Anna and her mum out to dinner (as Thursday night in fact, when we went to The Orange Tree in Totteriddge, which, much to my consternation was completely devoid of Walford's finest!)

Sat - In work at 6.30am to find I finally have a manager employed who I can trust to do things properly! Left again at 9 and went home and cooked breakfast for Anna and her mum, before taking them to Whipsnade for the day. As previous visit - I WANT A TIGER! Came back, took them for dinner and passed out watching Match of the Day.

Sun - Anna and her mum went shopping, so I had a quick five pints watching the footy and caught up on some sleep, sleeping from 7 last night until 5.30am this morning.

So... today I'm healthy, more rested than I am ever am and unbeatable! Wahey! (Oh and while she thought no less of me for having gone on a 30 hr bender when she was here last time, I think Anna's mum definitely likes me even more now 8) )

 Boring grown up bastards!

Friday - Went on a bar & house party safari around Old St and bailed on a night at Fabric for an early night.
I'm sat on the sofa sipping on a cuppa with Auntie Weese in her pjs and an MMS prawn picture comes through from Jamie saying the only safe place to run for cover is Danny Rampling at the End.
Soon enough, we're having (another) old skool session in the living room, selecting Rampling accessories and falling over each other to get to the bathroom! :-/
I've made it my mission to catch as many DR sessions as I can before the year is out because of his looming retirement...grrr.
Like a fool, he's asked us to email him all our faves for his final Ministry set - the poor bloke is going to have to invest in a new server to cope with the file size! :-))
I was flying on tap water all night so Danny gave me the best cardio workout I could've hoped for. His set was really nicely structured and it was soooo nice to be out dancing to some 'proper' music again (at the risk of sounding like a loser anorack twat), none of us could peel ourselves off the floor all night. Roll on the Ministry - eeek!

Saturday - Brighton daytripper pals caught the train to London carrying terrorist styleey backpacks...drank sensible amounts of vino in Soho Sq and went on to a very wrong bbq. Discovered the 'fuse box game' :? and chocolate gateux, rosehip tea and curry cocktails 8O 8O 8O . This resulted in the necessary formulation of the loser corner (which later became the centre of the party so it must've had something going for it). The fuse box game came to a halt when an Danny Rampling essential mix got played (What was that??? I'm still feeling the reporcussions!)...he whipped us up into such a frenzy that we spilt poppers all over the back of the taxi on the way home...another priceless moment.

Sunday - Moved Auntie Weese into her posh Maida Vale penthouse flat *yay*...Sooo nice having travel pals a few tube stops away!
SecretSundaze = no. Too many people, too small a venue resulting in a-list wanker types doing sardine impressons (not that I'm bitter about being a Shoreditch fraud loser). Watched footie with Babs and Tom making all the appropriate blokie noises with my pint in the right places...but they bailed so am now an Arsenal supporter again.
No SS :( but managed to grab a cheeky George and Dragon sesh which turned into a quick cupotea at Zigfrid. :-/

Feeling grand today (I don't think) - another wicked weekend though and thanks to all involved.

Urgh - feel a bit sick actually.

Yes they're such well-connected llama and goose, how many llamas and geese do you know who go to work 8O

Serves you right for ending up in the George and Dragon when we were sensible and went home  ;)

not a great weekend, my nan got rushed to hospital and they think she will die very soon  .

worse thing is my rotten family are blaming my mum for it, and its got nothing to do with her...bloody familes!

We just filed Maria away in the cabinet under 'L' and Gail under 'G'.

I'm quite good at filing.

Have your work colleagues asked why you've brought a llama and goose to work or is it just normal behaviour in Robder world :? 8O

I think that as long as they're filed away and integrated into the office systems then no one should notice anything out of the ordinary.

You never know when you might need to access a llama in the filing system after all. ;)

I'm with Robder. You all are wussies.

Total carnage this weekend, my friends. Here goes:

Friday - It all started out nice, sitting at home with the missus. But I couldn't take it :!: Head out solo to the grand opening of a new DJ cafe/mini-club called Aloe. Electro Fridays they called the evening as they were very obviously trying to emulate the longstanding electro-house/techno clubs Mix and Mio (down to the small, intimate size & design). The music was great but the crowd was not, so over to Fabrique where at 2:30am they were already deep into the deep house. Ran into some Russian friends (and fellow Chelsea fans) there and had a full conversation in Spanish with one of them 8O Several fist-pumping butt-shaking beer-swilling hours later it was off to MacDonalds for a Sausage Macmuffin, hash browns and orange juice  (McDs, despite being in Russia for over a decade, only started serving their traditional breakfast menu 6 months ago... this was my 2nd time indulging 8) ). Then home.

Saturday - Another no-hangover day :D Sat around the house until early evening then the missus and I went to a birthday dinner for a friend at a new fancy rooftop terrace restaurant called Casual. Overpriced food but a nice evening before the missus and I parted ways (both already good and sloshed!). She went off to hang out with the Disco Boys (German DJs) with a friend of hers, while I went to Cafe Mio to see Giles "It's My Party" Smith  The opening DJ was great but Giles started off really slow before picking up after 45mins and then raging towards the end of his set. Afterwards I had a 5-10 minute conversation with Giles (or at least tried to 8O ). Then off to my favorite after-party club Mix where I kept shaking it through the early morn (I hadn't been there in ages... it's still got that mojo!). Another MacDonalds macmuffin run on the way home 8O at which point I'm thinking, what's gotten into me!?

Sunday - slept until about 3pm, lazed about a bit then off to the sports bar with the missus to watch Chelsea ruin Arsene Wenger's day :D :D Several beers were had so by the time we went grocery shopping and got home and all, I passed out way early (11:30!)

Woke up on time today, bright eyed and all. :D
