Sat: BBQ in mates really nice house off the Kings Road... shame it started to Drizzle when we got the gas BBQ out... had to step in cos he was intent on serving up charcoal mincemeat... and by time most of the 30 or so people arrived there was still no cooked food to be had.

Why do people walk around with a bun in hand hoping to get a burger quicker?

anyway, had enough of cooking, and went on the decks at 6pm...and didnt stop till midnight. 8)

Friday - me and Tom went out for probably one of best Chineses I've ever had (we've only lived here for 4 years and kept saying we must go there  ) back early and saw a bit of Big Brother where I couldn't believe the states of the people who go on this programme 8O

Saturday - Tom had to go to wedding reception that I couldn't really go to but my knight in shining armour Ferd :D  ;) took me under his wing for the night :D ;) After a few spritzers (and way too much talk on my part  8O  ) in Notting Hill headed down to Elephant & Castle and met up with others. Even the g/list queue @ Ministry was evil but Tom just got there as we were going in. I'd been thinking poor Tom at this wedding night-do that he didn't want to go, he rolls up, 5 pints (that's Tom's alcoholic intake for a month  ) and been doing beans with his sis-in-law  so for once I was the semi-responsible adult :? 8O  Lovely to see lots of familiar faces (hope you had good birthday celebrations Karen). Thought Mike Monday and Big Daddy G were awesome, but not the best NDSM set afterwards, I dunno since February they've never seemed as good as their first nights, it's still a brilliant night but I don't get that 'OMG I'm never going to listen to anyone else but NDSM' feeling' altho I know I'll be there in October and probably NYE

Sunday - me and Tom resisted all aftershow temptation with best of intentions to go to bed with curfew of 11 and then get up @ 4 for football. After the 'Derek', 'Brian', 'Arthur', 'whether Sar is more of a Grazia girl to a Heat girl' 'find the best page 3 stunna 3 quote comment' and 'find the best pic in the Sundays papers' game (for info it's the back page of the Star  ) we realised it was 2pm so watched Arsenal, then Chelsea, got on best g/friend behaviour when it got to 80 mins and it was still 0-0 but happy ending all round (well it meant I didn't have mardy b/friend  ) Lots of wine and Tom tried to get me into that Lost program cos it was being repeated on E4 but as per normal my attention span had gone by time credits started :?

All in all a really nice wkend :D And a special thanks to Ferd for having to look after a MDL for the first part of the night 8O  ;)

:(

I got a package to Auntie Babs on Saturday, thankyouuuuu  ;)

I still can't listen to it tho cos my stereo is in the stereo hospital, Tom went in to found out how long it's going to be and it's only something minor but the bloke who mends them is on holiday  So like all CD stereo mending has to put on hold for the summer while he goes on holiday

buy a new one.

Friday: Watched Big Bro final despite having proudly missed the whole series.
Managed to knock myself in the eye with all the soave induced excitement  and went to the Cock at Ghetto.
Music was the best I've ever heard there (again) and company was perfect! (Robder's still walking around with his head in the clouds)
When I hit the fresh air I realised how drunk I was and couldn't read any of the night bus numbers. Didn't get home till about 7 cos met some randoms and went for a spliff en route. 8O

Saturday: Hoooge lie in and collapsed by a tree in Hyde Park. Had loads of visitors on rotation without having to move. Result!
pm - went to a house party and caught up with V___ friends away from a club environment. V strange :? . Still had lots to talk about though.
They tried to abduct me and take me to Crash  :?
Needless to say Robder was having none of it because it didn't fit his current gay exile.
Went home to get changed for NDSM and fell asleep fully clothed.

Sunday: Woke up feeling fresh as a daisy on a Sunday! 8O Had to go for a morning walk to check out what the grown ups actually do at this time of day!
Put on my disguise and ended up in the Tate modern! 8O 8O 8O
After that, went to a friends and watched Gremlins with ice cream and wine.
Feel great today but it's over rated really.

I didn't realise you were in gay exile, is it going to be a temporary excile or a permanent one

It's nice to do it now and again to prove that you can do what 'normal' people do on a Sunday, but once in a while is more than enough

I'm always in gay exile! I'm becoming more and more homophobic by the day!

I've only had a gay summer because they seem to do lots of outdoorsy stuff and I do like the odd street party!

Also B___ is always a secret and never counts. ;)

Detox weekend. No clubbing, no alcohol...Felt great all day sunday and fell on top of the world today.

Slighty odd to feel this good on a monday though.

Bring on next weekend.

Crikey somethings not right!

There seems to be a grown up front creeping across Spotlight.
Hopefully it will have cleared by the bank holiday weekend. ;)

I think we all just want to try this 'normal grown-up' behaviour but then we try it, it's ok but not all it's rated to be, so our normal service is resumed by the following wkend

I'm raring to go for the up and coming weekend. :D

Sat - Went to Discoteque at Fez club Bristol for a night of supposed US House and electro which appealed. What I had forgotten was how poorly Bristol nights compare with London :? Yes it's great to be out in my home town and a short taxi home to be back in my own bed but Bristol people just don't do clubbing. The vast majority are just on a mega mission to get pi$$ed and then fight whilst eating their Kebab. It must be 3 years since I went out in Bristol and my friends and I couldn't believe the sights we saw on our walk to the Taxi stand. It was like one of those programs on Sky "Booze Britain"
Anyway the night itself was OK, club small but quite a good layout and me and my friends had a laugh, the DJ'ing was a bit shocking at times and made me realise that all the DJ's on this BB I have heard at events like so.... are a lot better than these guys who have regular nights.
Conclusion - Stick with London 8)

Sun - Few Jobs around tha house and Garden in the morning. Then to the Beach at Weston Super mare to meet up with some friends and my Godson Jake. Had a few drinks and a meal and watched a sunset that would (almost) rival one at Cafe del mar.
Home at 10.00pm to watch the conclusion of the golf, got to about 12.15 to have play suspended because of thunderstorms :( Play resumes at 3pm today.......nice to be working at home today ;)

Friday: went for an all you can eat chinese buffet. Decided that they are cheap and nasty so wont be doing that again. Went home and had an early night :D

Saturday: Got up really early, like 8.30 or something and made some bacon sandwiches. Went to check out a couple of gyms near where were going to be moving to. Esporta @ £56 a month and Living Well @ £50 per month, Esporta wins hands down due to the yoga classes i can do after work. Went to my moms and then went home and watched the film 'Ray', very sad.

Sunday: Got up early again after the cat kept trying to stand on my head , made some more bacon sandwiches and had a tidy of the house, the last one ever. Went over to Ikea to see what we need and add it up, came away with a lovely little list and wished farewell until Saturday morning at 9am. Went home and watched Meet the Fockers and that was it.

Nice relaxing weekend 8)

It was a pleasure :D It was a very entertaining pre-clubbing drinks, by MDL standards anyway  ;)

Saturday night was really good. Its interesting that Barbie says she had a better time at the Feburary NDSM becuase I had a better time at this one. I definitely prefer the music on saturday to that on the CD. Thought the mixing was a bit hit and miss in places ;) But then you dont really go to it for that. It was also quite hot at times, but it never bothered me too much, as I think I stayed on the same spot for 6 hours!!

Great to see so many spotlight faces, hope those that carried on at The Key had a good time. Soz for not saying goodbye to Karen and the gang, didnt realise you'd left. Like Robbie G and his lovely gf, I was ready to hit my bed straight after Ministry, even if I couldnt sleep all day yesterday.

All in all a great night, all my mates had a great time, including the random french girl. I'll defo be going to Ministry again soon 8)
