Friday - me and Tom went out for probably one of best Chineses I've ever had (we've only lived here for 4 years and kept saying we must go there

) back early and saw a bit of Big Brother where I couldn't believe the states of the people who go on this programme
Saturday - Tom had to go to wedding reception that I couldn't really go to but my knight in shining armour Ferd

took me under his wing for the night

After a few spritzers (and way too much talk on my part

) in Notting Hill headed down to Elephant & Castle and met up with others. Even the g/list queue @ Ministry was evil but Tom just got there as we were going in. I'd been thinking poor Tom at this wedding night-do that he didn't want to go, he rolls up, 5 pints (that's Tom's alcoholic intake for a month

) and been doing beans with his sis-in-law

so for once I was the semi-responsible adult

Lovely to see lots of familiar faces (hope you had good birthday celebrations Karen). Thought Mike Monday and Big Daddy G were awesome, but not the best NDSM set afterwards, I dunno since February they've never seemed as good as their first nights, it's still a brilliant night but I don't get that 'OMG I'm never going to listen to anyone else but NDSM' feeling'

altho I know I'll be there in October and probably NYE
Sunday - me and Tom resisted all aftershow temptation with best of intentions to go to bed with curfew of 11 and then get up @ 4 for football. After the 'Derek', 'Brian', 'Arthur', 'whether Sar is more of a Grazia girl to a Heat girl'

'find the best page 3 stunna 3 quote comment' and 'find the best pic in the Sundays papers' game (for info it's the back page of the Star

) we realised it was 2pm so watched Arsenal, then Chelsea, got on best g/friend behaviour when it got to 80 mins and it was still 0-0 but happy ending all round (well it meant I didn't have mardy b/friend

) Lots of wine and Tom tried to get me into that Lost program cos it was being repeated on E4 but as per normal my attention span had gone by time credits started
All in all a really nice wkend

And a special thanks to Ferd for having to look after a MDL for the first part of the night
