Weekend Rundowns

Fri - took the current for a nice dinner at a local Italian place - ate loads and having been really busy all week, so passed out at 10pm. Luckily we were home by then! 3.30am - awoken by a call to tell me that the JCB driver hired in for some night work has been stopped for drink driving.....in his JCB....in Westminister. Nice. Can't get back to sleep, so head to one of my depots to catch out some slackers

Sat - Worked through until 2pm and then went and lost 3-2 in my football match. That's 2 losses out of the last three and we'd been unbeaten all season before them! Few beers and in bed early for work Sunday.

Sun - Arrive at depot for 6.30am and catch every single person coming in late. Bollockings all round and then consider meeting BBS, Kang et al at EGG. Think better of it and stay working - tormenting the troops is a much fun as clubbing anyway

Wine and cheese at home last night and back to work (did I ever leave? ) today. Decided to have more weekends like this and realised I like working the weekends as much as not working. You don't hear that very often do ya?

Christ that sounds too much like real work... 8O 8O  :?

fri- said goodbye to the old man with tear in me eye as its prob last time ill see him. shopped more in HK.

Sat-shopped even more in HK. - found out Blaze were playing in a club in Wanchai district... woulda gone if i was 100% confident of making my way back from one end of the territory to the other. Taxi woulda cost me a fortune tho). :(

Sun- watched Ray, then Bridget Jones Diary about 5 times on flight home, cos i wanted to be as un-jetlagged as possible by staying up for the entire 12n half hr flight back. woulda slept if seat would go back further (had some porker in seat behind n think back of seat was hittting his knees.
slept for all of 5hrs last night despite feeling really tired.

cant wait to go out propely for a good night soon.

I'm the Anthony H. Wilson of the utilities industry. Well, the visionary bit, without the going bust. Actually, he can keep the 'suit and
Travel-Fox' look too, come to think of it.

Sensible and Normal weekend at the Pups House.

Consisting of walking dog, tidying the garden for the forthcoming Spring which I believe is round the corner,

Next weekend I plan to be so FUBAR ........ (and also the weekend after in jolly old London Town!)

Sat: quiet one planned, friend came to visit - couldn't resist the lure of Felix da Housecat at the arches, and sent a messenger to pick up some tickets Sooo glad we went, have always wanted to see him, but never got round to it - first night in ages I have left saying wow May not be one for the chinstrokers - but for fun fun fun, he was the man

What was the crowd like Angie? Havent been to the Arches since New Year because we were getting sick of all the neds. Could do with another night out there soon though :P

Almost ned free I would say - really cool, chilled, laid back crowd :P Real feeling of it being people just like me (hhmm know that doesn't really give much of a clue!) jeans, t-shirt, trainers, up for a laugh, nice to each other, not too many mongs type of night - if that makes sense :?
And a bit older - think a lot of people would be saving up for the bigger 'bang bosh' nights - but the place was packed and at the risk of sounding like a old fart, felt like nights in there from 98/99 - loved it :P

or maybe more hearts than usual ha ha ha ha ha j/k ;)

Sounds really good :P Was it an IO night or Colours, or completely different? Don't think I can be bothered with them two anymore :? Ned free does sound very good though, gonna have to plan our next trip methinks 8) :P

You still on the hearts then? Don't know if its my tolerance...but the quality seems to have gone down over the past few months with them

Thursday went to forumla in the city at tabernacles. Really good night. great crowd, music was very fluffy funky house though. Left there at 1, me and another person went back to a friends flat in streatham and carried on till 5. woke up again at 7:30 cos the others had to go to work 8O

Friday opened my pressies and cards. and went for a meal with mummy and pappa robo - very nice it was to.

Saturday went out with boys drinking from early afternoon. Collapsed about 1 am on a mates settee for an early night. Up at 9:00 to play football.

good weekend

Spent weekend in Edinburgh. Huge thanks to Stu and all his pals for the brilliant time. 8)

Saw Nic Fanciulli at The Liquid Rooms on Saturday. Thought he was class. Really nice club and a good up for it crowd. No need to get into the messiness that followed back at the house ;)

It was Colours and Slamevents jointly - seemed to bring a nice crowd. Tbh I think a lot depends on who's playing and what else is on around the same time that people may be keeping there money for.

You tried the Soundhaus? Only been the once, but definitely ned free :P Keep meaning to try Subclub and Liquid Lounge too.

Think a lots of neds head for the arches as they think it's 'pu-ure helfy bangin'
