Weekend Plans

Thursday is a public holiday and Friday is a squeezed in day when no one works. This weekend is really a 4 day holiday.

- Wednesday: Last day at work this week. We're expecting about 40 pct of my colleagues to go on strike as from tomorrow. No one knows what'll happen except utter chaos. I'll be getting a flight in the evening to escape to Oslo.
- Thursday to Sunday: In Oslo, no plans except to get some sun, relax and see friends. I'll try to attend a live music event.
- Monday morning: Early flight back home, and then make my way through the picket lines to get into the office.

This has been a long four day week. But the weekend is nearly here! Conversations have started about a possibly tactical weekend for Godskitchen at the end of September now in Ibiza, but after the boys trip at the end of August... finances may be tight :lol: :spank:

This weekend looks to be a super quiet one. In the last five weeks I've been to Malta, Croatia, Bristol and the Tidy Weekender. Looking forward to tackling some stuff around the house!

Fri - local with other families for food/drinks. Early night at 9pm

Sat - 08:30-13:00 son's football tournament. Lost 4 group stages, conceded about 25 and scored 1! Tournament had arranged champ league for top teams, Europa for middle and FA Cup for bottom for two different groups. Our appointments in FA Cup left early, so we won FA Cup by default 😳 que celebrations on the branded stage with trophy 😂😂😂
Then a house warming in Preston. Pizza, beer and Champ league final.

Sun - Christening and do after 😁

Feels like a long day until 8pm departure for the airport. Pushing to the.edge at Space before a Sunday night flight home, the couple of times I did it, seems some worlds away

Flight was delayed, into bed at 4am, up at 7am. Feel like I've done a full weekend in Ibiza BITD, not a week's teetotal all-inclusive with the kids in Mallorca. Plan to give up caffeine has been put back:lol:
