Had a really good day. The event was much better organised this year, no 45 mins waiting to get a beer this year! We got in there about 12.30 but the place didn’t really fill up until 5pm. Music in the main tent was pretty tame until later on. I was mostly in the dnb though. Garage tent was a bit moody with a few groups of lads making a nuisance of themselves. I am still amazed that something of this scale gets the go ahead in Lichfield centre. Nice to party for 11hrs and still get home for 11.30pm.How was it? My daughter said she had an amazing time
Loved Wobble, lots of very hammered folks on their 40s and 50s, great venue, brilliant music, amazing atmosphere
I hope you tasted the winenice weekend in Collioure across the border. Really lovely, friendly town. No rock n roll, but a lot of art/history/swimming. ideal for older couples.
Having something like that on my doorstep is so tempting but the August bank holiday Wobble is the best one and a highlight of my yearHad a really good day. I’ll try and get down to wobble before the end of the year. Got to have a couple of months off though we’ve been a bit excessive this summer
You can’t not come home from a BBQ and have enough alcohol inside you for a hangover.Currently sat in the garden with feet up.
This afternoon is friends getting together for a barbecue. I’ll be taking some 80s pop vinyl for a bit of a spin. Taxi home.
Sunday, a day for sorting the garden. Hanging a door, clearing out the shed, moving heavy things. In other words getting ready for the change of weather. Hopefully without a hangover from today’s barbecue
I’m ever the optimist. You can’t not come home from a BBQ and have enough alcohol inside you for a hangover.
To be honest though it goes one of two ways with me, I get shit faced and don’t even eat or I eat so much food I can’t drink.I’m ever the optimist.
It turned out alright. We got lift from my mate and his wife. So, we had a drink but ate as well. They had leave at 8pm to get home because they’d left their 13 year old son at home. So, we got a lift home and had a few more drinks in front of Netflix before a relatively early night for a Saturday. Breakfast beckons then it’s on with the garden sortingTo be honest though it goes one of two ways with me, I get shit faced and don’t even eat or I eat so much food I can’t drink.
