Weekend Plans

Had opening day for my baseball season last night. Covid prevented us from practicing in the spring, def rusty at the plate - need to get back into a cage asap. On the plus side - everything hurts! lol

Currently in the office catching up on work, yaaaaaaaay. #Ineedabeerorthree

I think I remember people letting dogs out to walk themeslves in London in the 80s. No wonder there was 💩 all over the pavements

Still a massive nuisance where I live. Like playing hopscotch every time I go to the shop.

Meanwhile, whatever happened to white dogturd?

At least you don't have to deal with piles of steaming horse sh!t dumped outside your gate ... I had to shovel a massive pile up into a bin bag-lined bucket earlier in the week and drive it to the edge of the village to toss it in a field. Blasted horse riders come round the lanes before evacuating their animals when there are bridleways and fields everywhere. it's just the most antisocial thing, bings horse flies etc. in minutes. But they're allowed to nothing we can do apart from shame them ...

We also get the creeping villagers who insist on having their dogs off the lead so they can cock their leg on your butterwell and leave piles of doggy-doo in your driveway and outside your front gate. I can't blame the tourists because I know the culprits - one of these days I'll catch them on video !

Early planning - but looks like we’re heading to the opening of Can Garage on Friday evening (finally!!!) 🤤

Then on Saturday, heading over to Formentera, where’s open for a (not to expensive) bite to eat? Gotta pay full price for that ferry😅

will you have means of transportation in formentera?

ok great. when we were over last weekend, none of the chiringuitos in illetas were open yet - maybe that'll change now, but none of them are cheap. my advice for you would be to check out one of the traditional and laidback chiringuitos on the migjorn side: pelayo, kiosko62, la franja, bartolo. real formentera vibe and won't cost you a fortune. it's only wednesday now, but currently it does look like it'll be a little windy on that side of the island so after lunch just head over to the other side (the beaches close to es calo de sant agustí) which should be quieter. keep in mind the forecast could still change.

feel free to DM me with any more q's eh!

Definitely don't want to turn this into another thread but surprising start to the weekend - had a text from my GP surgery this morning inviting me for my first covid jab today, tomorrow or Sunday. Jumped in straight away and had it done. With things starting to open up have a nice weekend plan seeing some friends tomorrow and then a nice long walk with the missus and dog followed by a roast dinner in a country pub on Sunday!
