Went to a DnB rave on Friday (A.M.C, Luke Vibert, Kenny Ken and several others). Made the mistake of doing a magic gig on Sunday and it was awful (fortunately it wasn't paid). Anyway got three gigs this week to try and redeem myself and build my confidence up again. The venue I'm doing on Thursday I will be raving in two days later for DJ Heather. Bizarre!

someone I know posted this short festival review today which has had me chuckling for the last 10 minutes
Friday/Saturday: moaning about every f*cker filming.
Monday: watching all the footage.

The bar I do is in a town called Ramsbottom nand I think they view magicians as modern day witches. Very tough crowd to get a reaction out of. It didn't help that I got battered on Friday which gave me the shakes! Calling it a day on that venue. Redeemed myself last night at an open mic I do every week as a casting director for a very well known TV show saw me perform and subsequently took my details. Let's if that leads anywhere...

Got a footy coupon up - £250 off a fiver. Queue a delivery of narcotics to the boozer and a trip up town to absolutely ruin myself. Needless to say that £250 is long gone and I’m sending this message from beyond the grave. Happy fkn Sunday.

Today’s baby rave was quality, entering fabric at 2pm on a Sunday compos mentis felt strange. Room 3 was a buggy park. Didn’t venture into room 2, as was D&B. Was in room 1 for Terry Francis, loads of balloons and confetti cannons, the kids were absolutely loving it. Can imagine this is what Elrow is like.

So I was half way into DJ Heather's set and start looking for my mate who had disappeared. Turned out he's been kicked out for spewing on the stairs (we did nail a bottle of tequila before going out). So as he was on his own I left missing the rest of the night

Went for a nice meal on Saturday night and after a bottle of wine and a quick pick me up in the bathroom ended up going to see Mano Le Tough do a DJ set... very good night only felt normal again this morning
