Quiet weekend for me, no booze for a change

Just back from a stag do in Hamburg and feeling very broken.

Went home to see the folks, and finally booked some accommodation (and a car) for Ibiza trip in two weeks.
Nothing like last minute bookings.

Just back from Berlin, running the marathon.
No clubbing this trip unfortunately.

i have now completed 8 weeks off from the ale and very much looking to dive off the wagon in a couple of weeks time!

30th Sept (Realistically the 1st Oct) to the 6th (Realistically the 5th).

International sporting excellence for me this weekend.

Fly to Portugal on Friday for Saturday's over 35s European Cup. Lost on pens in the final last year with a bare 11 man squad, so hoping to go one further this year....

if anyone's in BCN this weekend, it's the annual Merce celebrations (lineup below) - it's funded by the city so fairly limited budget entertainment alas but it's free and still a good laugh though and you occasionally stumble across half-decent bands/DJs

Booked a trip to Madrid at the weekend for November for the other half's big birthday there is some football match on that weekend that he wants to go to in the new stadium anyway anyone been before? any recommendations?

Few frames of snooker with my old man on Saturday, overtime on Sunday and finish packing my case.

Working in Edinburgh on Tuesday and won’t get home till 9pm so no last minute packing time available...must be sorted Monday.

4am taxi to Newcastle airport for an oh six thirty flight to Ibiza on Wednesday morning. 10 days off from the world
