Folk are going mad in this weather we're getting here..:) a friend of a friend who's a brilliant cook but mad as a brush,he must of had at least 10 failed businesses that I can think of even his pop up efforts fail is after getting his hands on a boat for the summer and is inviting people out for dinner sunset cruise:eek:.. he asked me and a few out this evening its BYOB.. and asked me to bring some chill out cds:lol:

Planning on having a very healthy sober July. much needed after May/June's antics!

No waves this weekend but epic weather is swaying us towards a good long walk along the coastal path. bliss!

Great plan - good time ? Jumped in the car just after 2am on Saturday morning and drove down to Studland Bay in Dorset to catch the sunrise. Packed my bike in the car and went cycling for an hour through the coastal heather / heathland before anyone was really there or awake. Long walk to a very quiet part of the beach. Got in some runs on the beach and early morning exercises before anyone not there to exercise really showed up. Set myself up there for the day to swim & catch up on a lost night's sleep, and with a gentle breeze blowing wound up staying in my spot for 8 hours :cool:.

Thank god I had a tan already because I think I'd have burned to a crisp - there's no shade for half a mile ! Loved it, not been before and would definitely go again. So much nicer there than Sandbanks across the bay !

So good mate, we had some light cloud for the outbound stretch which was most welcome in all honesty! blistering sun on the way back! We were planning on headed to Bedruthan Steps then walking back to base but opted to head in the other direction towards Holywell Bay.

Even scored a little surf yesterday too!

Your adventures sounded great! I've said it before and I'll say it again, when Britain gets the weather it is one of the most stunning places to be!

Got messed up on 2c-b-fly Saturday night. Not the biggest dose I've had, but some crazy hallucinations (a lot of things started to resemble spiders, even the light fitting over my bed, which looked like one big web sac with a giant spider inside ). Didn't sleep and I'm totally out of whack. Only one more silly weekend allowed before Ibiza - I need to be on top of the exercise, Spanish lessons and also keep alcohol intake low. I seemed to drink a lot of beer alongside the fly...
