I don't think it matters how big you are mate, the socks your wearing in your pic would scare and poor fcuker off :lol::lol:!
Socks make a man... not sure what that makes me. P.S. Jonboy, not sure if you are aware of the UK Rapper Skinnyman but, does he remind you of anyone ?

Ok, that's it, I promise. I'll stop.

PMSL Jonny - the most famous derby in the world? derby county for one...

anyhow, got a good mate over from back home so its up to cloud 23 for a scoop - now this bar gets a lot of criticism & I am not a twatty bar kind of person in general (no trainers for one)- but it's on the 23rd floor of this hotel building

& well worth a visit. Then a trip to a casino is rumoured - what fun!!

Saturday day, likely to be in work - then eve dinner at my mates & missus house. Sunday work. Booooo...

Friday - working 6-2 then playing in Glasgow at night (new monthly residency , hope the night takes off)

Saturday, Sunday, Monday , Tuesday - ahhhhhh, long weekend off. No plans. Trying to save cash as I'm off to Ibiza in just over 5 weeks. It 's getting close.

and shows the might of the SPL. so much that in order to prolong a season, you have to play each other 4 times.

The SPL is a crap league mate you wont hear me trying to defend it, the sooner the better we and Rankers get out of there and leave the other minnows to it the better.

My weekend, finish up final Uni stuff for ever. Get massively overexcited, drink too much cherryade, lick too many frogs and go mental. And go to Thorpe Park on Monday. Ooo, and watch Bournemouth march on with the best relegation survival ever.

Good luck with the Uni stuff, i remember when i finally finished. It's such a great feeling!!! (until the harsh reality of the real world kicked in!)

Anyway, enjoy it!

Saw this building for the first time last week in the flesh, i was parked at the bottom of it. I love it. particularly from a distance, as manchester has such a flat cityscape , it has a great monolithic appearance.

Fri: friend's mother has just passed away after a long battle with cancer so she's coming over for a talk and shoulder to cry on - so a sad evening, but also hopefully helpful in that she can talk about it to someone outside the immediate family....:cry::cry:

Sat: As the weather is looking good for the weekend, its all about the garden/wine/books/chill tabs ...

Sun: Phil at match so more of the above......

Following BH w/e will be another matter entirely....... 8)8)8)

Sorry to hear that pups, but I'm sure you'll be great support to her.:(

gareth you missed the vital info.

the bar is on the overhang!

jonny - the old firm is a greta derby, easily one of the best in the world.

however, the fact there are at least 4 each year, dilutes it somewhat i feel.

God I hope so - I am a bit pants at stuff like this - I always feel I have to make them laugh at some point..... prob not the best thing AND I always say something inappropriate - luckily she knows me very well and probably wont notice if I do.....

I was talking to a blind guy from our office last week and he told me his guide dog had retired because he wasnt stopping at red lights etc etc - becoming a bit of a liability and I turned round and said

"oh that's no good, it must be like the blind leading the blind for you" eeek:oops:

Re: your friend, i had a similar circumstance a few years back when a close friends mother die suddenly. our circle of friends texted him and called to pass condolences. No one knew waht to say.

I didn't know what to say of any worth, so i rang him and said "look i know you're going through hell, but i thought you might fancy a few pints to get out of the house"

He said " Thank fck you asked, i'm gasping to get out for a beer, people have been calling all week and i was hoping someone would ask!"

nail on the head

some years with cup games its 6 times a season

the sooner the league expands to allow 2 games against a team a season, the better

you've got 42 teams (inc gretna) from SPL-Div3... surely it'd be a bit more competitive to have 3 leagues of 14. min 28 games a season, and means you have a winter break.

or is that down to money (lack of)

It is splendid. The architect (Ian Simpson) has the top two floors as his own gaff. All a bit bond villan like if you ask me tho - but the view from 23rd floos is incredible, god knows what it is like at the top, you can probably see London!

BTW - cityscapes, monoliths - you have been hanging round with to many architect!;)

its claimed that its down to a lack of quality, facilities or both

but currently the 1st divison has

Dundee, Hamilton (now promoted), Dunfermline, Livingston, Partick

all top league teams within the last 10 years or so

could easily have a 16-18 team league
merge the lower divisions to make a SPL & championship idea
then bring in the Junior level football to form a pyramid system like in England
a lot of Junior teams have big supports compared to actual full league teams

that is hilarious! :lol::lol::lol:
