Weekend plans...

Friday: Going for the curry that we should have had last week.

Saturday: Joeys playing @ Plastic on the evening, unsure about plans in the day.

Sunday: Do the weekly shop and chill with a nice roast.

Friday: Probably a few (or more) drinks @ home with friends.

Saturday: Work in the am, install a replacement 'Digisender' system to transmit Sky to all rooms (boring and tedious!), gym then out with friends for dinner, then probably on to a couple of late bars, maybe Hustle @ Matrix and possibly attend an afterparty at a mate's downstairs (which will be very messy!) :?

Sunday: Much dependant on Saturday's shenanigans but hope to go buy a new vacuum followed by lots of eating/chilling.

Not too dissimilar to most weekends really.

:)

Is that Alan Braxe as in Intro Alan Braxe??

is 'intro' a different track to 'running'? (Braxe and Faulke, Bora Bora monster for many a year :D !), if so then I haven't heard it, if not then i think it is of my favourite tracks of all time, one because it really rocks and two for the memories of where i heard it first!!!!

Anyway...my weekend plans are 'vvvbi'

Friday - Gym and Study
Saturday Study, Study, Gym, Domestic bliss, may treat myself to a take out curry and a beer as the lady is on a hen do (heaven forbid the state of her come Sunday)
Sunday - Study and chill all relaxed and refreshed for desheviled girlfriend (like myself last Sun  ) to appear!!

Intro was released around 2000, it was then released on the Running EP with Most Wanted so it is one and the same. And yep it is one of the bestest songs ever and ever and ever :D

A few DJs still play it out and about - I've heard Sneak and Yousef play it recently, also Jonathan Ulysesses played it as one of his last songs @ WLS and I did nearly wee my pants 8O

tonight I had part of the weekend because tomorrow is fiesta, I have been to have dinner to a great restaurant, very nice and a big discovery!!!!!!!! some drinks at costa galana and DJclub113
thursday: my favourite restaurant in portocolom haves a special japanese nigth : A japanese cook is comming to do a special menu, so maybe I go and have a nice japanese

friday : day in Palma and lunch with the girlies, nigth hopefully watching the sopranos , all familly is hooked with this serial , so bough all seasons .. and then I have prison break! is rubbish but I love it and I have a crush with the main character.

It just has that affect on me too (not necessarily wee-ing my pants altho that has been known to happen 8O  ) but it just makes me want to get up and bounce around and swing round the nearest pole everytime I hear it  ;)

Fri- One of my bestest mates and fellow Ibiza holidayer is going to work in a village in Kenya for 4 months as part of his Masters degree. So going to his leaving dinner and drinks around Hoxton and then I think to some cuban bar maybe later

Sat - School mates Bday so going out for some more drinks. This guy drinks like a fish so could be quite messy!

Sun - Kipathon (hopefully if I can fall asleep) and then some 5 a side footie in the eve

Friday - Drinks and food with friends in town.

Saturday - My little nephews 1st birthday party in the daytime, out for a friends birthday in a pub in Shep bush. :? apparently it's one of John Carters places??

Sunday - Cook a huge roast, walk in the park, pub with papers and a bottle of Red.

Thats an interesting combination!!

Will hopefully be joing the birthday people on saturday, but i cant stay all night!
It is a strange combination, isn't it? I'm still trying to figure out if they're playing separately or back to back... some adds say "Guetta vs Marco V" and other just have both names.

I'm going under the assumption they'll play separate sets.

Has Carter got a new pub in Shepherds bush???????????????????????????

Just take your ear plugs for Marco V 8O I have never heard such a racket in my life as when I heard him play @ Cream 8O (or maybe I'm just getting old and can't get down with the kids anymore  )

 I just tend to make things up

Let me know will you, it will mean Brownie points for me from Tom if I don't keep dragging him half way across London for a roast just cos we HAVE to go to one of Carter's establishments

Incidentally talking of roasts we want to the Red Lion a couple of weeks ago on your recommendation for a roast - mmmmmmmmm how good is their veggie roast :D Going back this Sunday for another one  ;)

It's true, I didn't make it up.
Just found this online.

CITY GEM
The Defectors Weld

when: Open daily
where: The Defectors Weld (170 Uxbridge Road, W12, 020.8749.0008) Tube: Shepherd's Bush map
price: Various
links: The Defectors Weld

Shepherd's Bush has long lacked a hangout for local hipsters — until now. The Defectors Weld gives them a pub with a dark but comfy feel similar to Camden's Lock Tavern. (Both are owned by Sara Cox and DJ Jon Carter.) Fortunately, the soundtrack is more Carter than Cox, as the music policy stipulates: "DJs generally not playing house music." Carter and DJ friends including the Filthy Dukes, Eat Your Own Ears and others make appearances at night (with a late license). On Sundays, a soul session accompanies the roast dinners. (JD)
