Weekend Breaks

Hi all,

We have decided to go away for a long weekend in April as we both feel we need to escape for a few days and chill out without the hassle of everything else like work etc etc

My fella said somewhere hot but I cant think of anywhere that would be hot hot at that time of year that you could go to for a weekend.

Does anybody have any ideas? I looked on Last Minute.Com and there were places like Venice, Florence etc

Any ideas or words of wisdom from anyone?

Or if all else fails a weekend here, I am thinking Brighton as I have never been.

you can go where you like for 4 days, spose is whether you can be bothered with a 4hr flight for just 4 days away.

we went to Sorrento in sept and I would highlty reccomend it. it will just be warming up in april too :D

My girlfriend and i went to Barcelona last summer for a weekend break.

Brilliant place. Loved it. Highly recommend it but i'm not sure the weather will hot hot in april
 
You could do somewhere like Egypt, Tunisia or Morocco. Should already be warm down there by then.

I wouldn't want hot hot for a city break. I think Barcelona in April would be lovely.

I agree with The Gollum :lol: Of all the city breaks I've had (tm Karen :lol: ;) ) Barcelona has been far and away the best - it's got everything you want - good restaurants/good clubs/nice little bars/good shops and it's by the sea :D Even when we were there in January last year the weather was gorgeous and we spent the days without jackets walking round and eating outside.
 
barcelona is definitely a good advice! loved it last september. funny how many spotlighters have been there during the last 12 months...barbie, robo, ferd (going this very weekend), grego (going aswell), buckley, me and many more i think!

(silvia - do you feel invaded? ;) :lol: )
