Wall / Hammers...

How abotu a rich Russian Oligarch taking over your club? That sure put paid to the legions of Chelsea racist skin head thugs?

my mate who has followed chelsea for years and remembers life in the 2nd Division - told me that where he sits, even though he knows the support there, is a regular fanzine contributor and goes to all the European ties - it would not be safe for him to criticise Terry who is a sacred cow for the hardcore... the game is a lot more gentrified than it was, but don't be fooled by the media spin of the last few years, the psychopathic tendency is still there and at virtually every club...

How is it good for football?

(genuine question, not picking a fight here...)

I'm never going to explain my thoughts how I want them too here, but I just think it is. It kinda takes it back as our game, and makes people realise stuff. I don't know, I'm not gonna try and explain it but I do. :)

Appparently not nearly enough police to sort it. Doesn't take brain of Britain to realise it was gonna kick off.

Too many kids trying to make a name for themselves and ruining it for everyone else. I guarantee if anyone gets done for this stabbing they are under 21. Let's wait for every paper in the world to go nuts tomorrow morning about it and obviously talk about "the seventies".

It's good for football, minus the stabbings. Wish I was there. Glad hammers done it how they did too, must have been amazing atmosphere. Millwall keep their name on everyones lips so will be well chuffed.

kids??...that was a bunch of grown men running around like pre-teen bullies..

Betcha there was about eight times the amount of police on standby for this PEACEFUL climate camp protest today than there were for the football last night though.

Joke

Never been Watford! Wycombe are my first team, but now I'm West Ham by association
A Hammer by association?!

But it was you who once wrote on a thread here that the only legitimate reason for supporting a team is geographical proximity of birthplace! :spank:  ;)

Complete bollocks mate if you think that's peaceful. Massive bomb of teargas over their little 'peace camp' would sort it out. :spank:

No, that would be silly! Not by birthplace, I have a friend who was born in Papau New Guinea... that would mean she would have to support some random team from there

I've lived in the East End for the last five years, been with Jon (die hard WHU) for 9 years, all his family and friends are also Hammers...hence my association!

I said you need some kind of logical tie with a team - you were born there, parents are from there, you lived there etc etc. I have so many friends who support Man U or Liverpool and have been to their grounds about twice in their lives. They started following them in school when it was cool to support big teams (Glory Hunters we call them ).

That's just my opinion anyway. 8)

Students and hippies in tents on blackheath bleating on about global warming and how capitalism is bad..... Ummmm yeah you're right, of course that's terrifying and a danger to everyone in London

Whereas a load of 'football fans' kicking off in numbers in the street is nothing to worry about really. Lets not worry about being thrown back to the 70's with fenced in terraces and even the threat of electric fences etc that's perfectly acceptable and 'good' for football.

:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

I won't mention of course the world cup bid which is probably in tatters now after spending god knows how much money on it already. Do you really think any of the other football associations around the world won't now be aware of this incident.

Basically he is one of the jumpy little knife weilding upstarts, just without the knife carrying, screaming "you're lucky there's a big fence, a cordon of 50 police on horseback and 1 embarassed mate holding me back" at the opposition.

...Born under the bow bells of Bogna!

The main cause of this problem is that West Ham penny pinched by only paying for 350 old bill. The met should have said no you need at least whatever and forced them to pay it. The old bill let a mob of 300 Millwall walk up from East Ham station with no police escort so they were asking for trouble. So the club and dibble have to take a look at themselves as they should have known this fixture plus all day drinking/sniffing was a receipe for disaster.

The media have had a field day with this. The people who ran on the pitch were celebrating goals, nothing we didn't see at West Brom or Hull previously. The mellee between old bill and the hammers fan wasn't as bad as made out as the bar stayed open throughout(which was handy) and the stewards were doing their usual bog watch to stop people having a fag!

Also our friends from bandit country who's manager said they were impecabbly behaved let's not let them off the hook either. Ripped up seats, sh1t smeared on the kazzee walls, songs like stand up Callum Davenport and where's your daddy gone to Jack Collinson and monkey chants to Carlton Cole and our various other black players. Impeccable indeed.

As for the world cup bid in tatters. Talk about knee jerk reactions! Where is the 2014 world cup being held? Brazil! A country that's hooligan problems p1ss all over ours.

Rant over. Carry on regardless.
