Too many kids trying to make a name for themselves and ruining it for everyone else. I guarantee if anyone gets done for this stabbing they are under 21. Let's wait for every paper in the world to go nuts tomorrow morning about it and obviously talk about "the seventies". :rolleyes:

It's good for football, minus the stabbings. Wish I was there. Glad hammers done it how they did too, must have been amazing atmosphere. Millwall keep their name on everyones lips so will be well chuffed.

A sad day fro English football. It makes me embarassed to be a West Ham fan! A bit of healthy rivalry is great for the club, and of course there's loads of history with the ICF etc. But to have these morons smashing up people's homes, threatening passers by (outside the ground) and hassling players on the pitch, chucking missiles etc, these are not football fans, they're just thugs!

Upton Park is actually a predominantly Asian area, God knows what people must think to have these fat, boozed up skinheads rioting outside their houses. I bet the locals are terrified!

It was always going to happen though with WHU and Millwall. Why on earth the game was allowed to play at 8pm that night, after everyone's been in the pub all day? Surely they could have changed the date/time?
 
That's got nothing to do with the football, just a load of Stone Islanders fighting to get into the Job Centre
 
The game cannot be played any other time due to it being the Carling cup which is a midweek competition(semis and final apart). They cannot move it to Sunday as both clubs have league fixtures at weekends.

Ham and Wall have been bashing the hell out of each other for over 100 years and the only way for it to stop is to ban away fans but then the normal punter is being punished.

Even if you ban away fans they will still meet up away from the ground as move firms do even during their summer hols it has been known for them to have a 'meet'.

Unfortunately people have been fighting for 1000s years and it will continue long after us.

well, tear gas, water cannons, sleeping pellets have been mentioned but I think the ideal method of eliminating the fat baboon tendency is to shoot sticky nets over them from rooftops, whereupon a helicopter would winch them up into the air and then deposit them at some discreet whirlpool in the North Sea.

Hooliganism would end overnight. Fact.
 
Major factor also in this was there was only 350 (less than league fixture which has mouthwatering matches like Wigan who bring around 70 fans and Blackburn who stretch to around 300) officers on duty last night.

Last time they played each there was over a thousand police and the fixture was played on a Sunday at midday.

Not the old bill's fault for this but Shirley all day drinking and this fixture is only going to end up one way and should be treated a high risk.

Dibble came in pub at one o'clock asking me and my mates 'any ideas where the main mob is chaps as we haven't clue where they are?'! :eek:

The only real solution is bring back decent pills. It sorted out the hoodlums in the late 80s so worth a try.

Didn't really take much psychic power on that though really. My nan could've predicted that. :lol::lol::lol::lol:
