I never got any at school either because I was a crusty raver with big wooly jumpers and dreadlocks. :lol:

I got one at uni once - it came with a cookie too in the shape of a heart, that was quite exciting. Never worked out who the hell gave it to me :?
 
I don't really know anyone who celebrates it nor do I see anyone at work here getting bouquets delivered at work... I thought it was only in the movies!

I've only been with someone on one valentines day.. and I think I got a card.. but we didn't do anything

It seems like more of a thing when I was in elementary/primary school and my mum made me give a valentine to every single person in my class... even the yucky boys!

Hate it. I think Valentine's Day is one of the dumbest, boring holidays. It's just another marketing ploy to make people unnecessarily spend money. It's not that I am bitter or anything, but why do you need a designated day to show your love for your significant other? You can do that any day of the year.
 
I like Valentine´s Day. Exept of this year, because I can´t spend it with my boyfriend. :cry:

if we do it right we can stop them having sex. I recommend rubbing it into their hair too so it takes several washes for the smell to come out. :twisted: :twisted: :twisted: :lol: :lol: :lol:

HATE IT!

I've hated it since I was about 8 years old... I seem to remember it was related to something traumatic in school... probably having to do with the little miniature valentine cards people used to give out. Don't remember, the specifics, to be honest.

Now I just see it as another stupid over-commercialized holiday championed by greeting card printers, jewelry sellers and flower growers :evil: Also an excuse for various restaurants to make it difficult for you to just go out for a regular meal. Whatever...

HATE IT!!!

I dont really see anything so special about it, its just far too commercial. I've never been taken out actually on Valentines day and i wouldnt want to either. Its so silly that way they have crappy set menu's for a stupid amount of money.

I've even told Joey not to bother getting me a present. I would still appreciate a card though.
