Ushuaia Opening Party 2012

Lots of changes this year in Ushuaia... for example: this year if you book a room, you can bring your friends to your room to party with you!
New partys soon to be announced...(but its gonna be big!) :)

You should have seen it this time last year! Never underestimate the ability of Spanish builders to bang screws into holes when required!
 
Swedish House Mafia will next perform at The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival on April 13 and 20 where they'll close out the main stage. They're also preparing for a busy summer with a slate of European shows in addition to their Ibiza Ushuaia residency launching July 4 and running every Wednesday thereafter thru August 29th.

First post here for a while... first trip to Ibiza for a while too!
I'm very keen to catch Luciano at the opening party, but want to go to Space on Sunday (can't really be arsed with Fatboy Slim anyway) - does anyone know if it is possible to get a one-day ticket anywhere?

I'm sure he will. Also, want to know what day the Defected parties are this year. I totally got into this one last year. Defected has grown and grown IMO into a more deeper soulful sound and it worked amazing in the open.

There was a rumour a few months ago that the Defected Party at Ushuaia was moving to Sunday's, though not heard anymore.

With WLS not starting until gone 7PM, some Defected @ Ushuaia could fit the bill well before heading over the road for WLS......

I can't remember where I read it but I think they said that Defected wasn't returning to Ushuaia?

James FYI that info came direct from the SHM's PR person (I'm on their email list). They aren't ones to prematurely release info... while things can always change i'd be surprised if whatever the Swedes plan there turns out to be any different that what I referenced.
