how'd u get that from that link???interesting.... that means no Sasha thursday night parties like last year
I see no mention of Sasha...
i was trying to say that last year, Sasha did his Ushuaia parties on thursday nights.... this year the entire summer Carl Craig is the thursday night resident there. Hence Sasha won't be going his party there on thursday nights. That was one of the best parties i went to last Sept. when Sasha and Sander played back-to-back... i really hope Sasha does end up there another night for some of the summer.... and of course it remains to be seen how the whole setup looks after the hotel opens...

i did see tha tCarl Craig was plaing but didn't notice it was a Thursday residency...
From all accounts Ushuaia is obv a huge success..and Sasha playing there was as well for obv reasons.
He wasn't a weekly resident there tho, so i can easily see him doing several appearance just as in 2010
but why would he move to play at a hotel???? he may just stay at the venue (l'elephant la plage? or something isnt it) and do thrusdays there. there was a video interview with him about it and said he loved playin there cause it was a beach bar... just cause its moved to the hotel doesnt mean all the acts will follow.... never know he may do but just cause the name has moved doesnt mean all the dj's will.

Correct. As much as I love(d) Ushuaia it was partly that location that made it.... great building, between the dunes etc... Will be interesting what La Plage de l'Elephant will be like this year. Last year they has some good nights - Luciano etc (if anyone is confused......La Plage was where Ushuaia will now be, and La Plage is moving to where Ushuaia was ....... OHHH god its all so confusing)!
The thing that I just can't picture yet about the new Ushuaia, is just how the 'dancefloor' area near the beach will look. I assume some of the buildings of the old hotel near the beach will be flattened to make more room, and as its set back from the beach they may extend it out a bit. However, the location still ain't an area of natural beauty. Maybe its time Fiesta demolished that 9 floor monstrosity of a hotel that will shadow Ushuaia!
Also - looking at the picture of the shell of the hotel that they have striped down - is it really possible you can make it a 5 star hotel in 3 months???? Anyone in construction know the answrer????
interesting.... though some times dj dates area confirmed but they don't want the info out yet so they ask the info to be taken down.
theVrk... my recollection was that Sasha's residency was weekly... but it was for only about 6-7 weeks.

no, it's further along. there is another hotel in between where ushuaia will be and where it used to be (part of the don toni complex)
