Sunrise these days is 7.30, when UNVRS is already closed. You'll need to go early summer for that or the closing when it stays open longer (I guess).Gutted we didn't stay for sunrise but the cab situation leaving there is an issue; not sure what the solution could be.
At 5h30 in September the sky is still pitch-black so yeah definitely a fake sunrise with led display and by 6am everyone is living the club in the dark and you still have to wait 90min to see the real as it’s not before 7h30 at the momentcorrect me if im wrong but I think they simulate the sunrise with the led display around 530am if it isn't sunny enough by then?
Some of these comments just back my own decision (not to go)
Oh yes not complaining about that - went to Hi and it was relatively pleasant in terms of business.Hard for me to comment too much on this, as not been yet. I always tend to leave new venues alone for a year and a bit until the spectators that are just going to "look at it" have done the looking.
All I will say is that a big room like UNVRS (or say a Drumsheds in London as another example) are never going to have the character of a Pacha, DC10, Amnesia, Fabric, Watergate Etc Etc. They are designed to pack in 10,000 people to a room - that is their #1 aim.
We all moaned about over crowding in Ibiza clubs, well UNVRS was the answer to the capacity issue.
Having just come back from a trip, I think Pacha, DC, Amnesia had the best crowds /atmosphere / room to dance than they have had in years.
So thank you UNVRS.
No crowd is worser than some of the Keinmusik crowdHeading back to UNVRS tonight for Paradise (my friend is landing and its 1000% his vibe)
Will be interesting to see the crowd, as I think its the exact crowd I hate![]()
just no good for your circadian rhythm that, Huberman would not approve. At 5h30 in September the sky is still pitch-black so yeah definitely a fake sunrise with led display and by 6am everyone is living the club in the dark and you still have to wait 90min to see the real as it’s not before 7h30 at the moment
Very weird imo

Real shame amnesia lost this night, went two years ago and enjoyed it more than I thought I would. Won’t be going to unvrs for it.
And of course Amnesia has lost a lot of nights, but Eastenderz has been one of the seasons successes! That might have not happened had Paradise still been at Amnesia.
