[UNVRS] Ibiza 2025

"Itis a digital experience that includes mobile stages and robotics on the dance floor that promises to be cutting-edge and will allow the public to interact with the dreamlike environment that Okuda promises."

Lots of VIP Balconies as expected! Assume will just be a bigger version of the Hï Theatre.
The middle dancefloor actually looks quite skinny, compared to that massive set of stairs leading to the the balconys!

the windows look good though and will be good to see the finished product soon.

UNVRS is clearly part of the broader shift towards a more commercial, VIP-driven clubbing experience on the island - less about the underground, hedonistic nights of the past and more about spectacle, big productions, and high-paying guests.

There’s no doubt that Ibiza, as a whole, is embracing this direction. It’s about the theatre, the money, and the mobile phones.

I’m going to Eric Prydz’s opening night, but I’ll be going sober - just to take it all in for what it really is. Hopefully, UNVRS helps ease the overcrowding in other clubs, as tourism has outgrown venues that haven’t expanded in decades. If it draws a portion of the crowd away, it might actually make some of the older clubs more enjoyable again.

That said, UNVRS seems tailored mainly for the VIP experience (I mean, a helicopter landing pad on the roof says it all). For a regular-paying guest, I imagine it won’t feel much different from Hi’s Theatre Room.

Still, I’m open to being surprised.
