[UNVRS] Ibiza 2025

Exactly!

Hotels have (recently) got good at doing soft launches. i.e. fill to 25-50% to test the damn place and everything works. I get a club can not do that, but fill it to 150% Capacity on Opening night and you get what you deserve.
The Ghosts of Ku will haunt them ;)

Because this place is owned by TNL, I'm very curios about the logistics of running this place. It's getting closer now.

I'm impressed by how the stage crew dismantles and rebuilds the Ushuaia stage in a relatively short period of time, seven days a week, for several months each summer. Hi as well, but I think the stages at Ushuaia tend to be more interesting and challenging.

It will be a minor miracle if it opens on time as well!

Perhaps a naive question, but are there really 10 000 to 15 000 people on Ibiza, every day of the season, who have the money to spend 90-100 euro just for the entrance ticket to this one club? It's not as if there aren't decent alternatives at a third of the price.

People might go there once during their stay. Which means every day, UNVRSs needs to find the equivalent of 50 planes full of new people to reach a capacity of 10 000 guests. The average seems to be 20 000 new passengers arriving to Ibiza every day during the 3,5 month period UNVRS is open. UNVRS will therefore have to sell one ticket to every second passenger to reach a capacity of 10 000 +.

There is of course always a high end market. But most countries are going through a cost of living crisis, which also hits the middle to upper middle classes. The wealthy Russians and Ukrainians are also gone from the market. How is this going to work out? What am I missing?

You’re thinking about this as a holiday budget. People now buy tickets after their Jan, Feb, March Pay Checks. This (I believe) is the main change over the last few years.

This.. I was literally just talking to a young girl serving me in my local deli. She and her mates have 4 nights planned, with tickets for July in the bag. And she’s a first timer visiting

I'm not thinking of this as a holiday budget. (I usually always buy my summer time/high season plane tickets and hotels well in advance). But more as a practical and necessary choice given how much money people have available to spend. Anectodal evidence goes both ways. Hardly anyone has money in January. By March many people will be afloat again, but still 100 euros is a lot of money for a significal portion of the younger crowd expected at such a venue.

As mentioned above, they need to sell one ticket to every second person who lands in Ibiza during the 3,5 month season.

We will obviously get the answer. :)

I thought the capacity will go down to 8.000? And surely no need to sell full capacity every night…

To be fair, making that old warehouse look like some huge white finca is actually pretty impressive.

Yeah l agree, looks very clean and villa / finca. Might not be for everyone but l would say impressive transformation, and from reading the released venue description, l for one will be looking to attend - in saying that its not till September, so the cat will be well out of the bag by then!

And there going to be serving food all night in the v.i.p , I thought it was a great read and somthing that stood out even if it just a bit of pr.

'VIP balcony wraps the room in an inverted U, while tucked behind closed doors, The Catacomb provides discreet movement between spaces, and outdoors, including a lush open-air terrace reserved exclusively for VIP guests.

But make no mistake, [UNVRS] is for everyone. Its open, accessible layout invites free movement across expansive spaces designed for connection, release and immersion. From the first beat to the final light cue, the experience is rooted in inclusivity - a shared energy that celebrates the many, not just the few. This is a space where everyone belongs"

Looking forward to the 30th now 😎💚
