Addition:My two cents....
Despite having a normal ticket, I didn't turn up until around 8.30am because I really wanted to see Carl/Jamie and couldn't manage to stay up all night.
It reminded me a lot of Hï, even if it was just the materials used. But it's really great what they've done with the Privilege. Hats off to them.
By 10 o'clock, the crowds had thinned out noticeably and the hustle and bustle had stopped. I ended up in the bunker in search of the wild comet. I thought that the ‘collapsed’ disco ball represented the comet. But I was probably wrong. I'll probably have to look again for Eric Prydz on Monday.
I was a bit surprised that it really was closing time at 12 o'clock sharp. I would have liked it to be an hour longer, but I was also the most well-rested person there.
I prefer the smaller venues like Pikes and Cova, but it was good to have experienced it.
I asked myself on site and still don't know what exactly the parameters for a ‘hyperclub’ are.
Is it the burger branch? Or is the club extensively remodelled for each event (Eric Prydz will have the huge LED dome, the other shows will probably be much smaller).
BTW I got talking to someone there and we discussed the concept. He said that you'd have to take dr*gs to fully understand it. The club is designed to get you high, then everything would make sense. Well....
