[UNVRS] Ibiza 2025

I think it's a bit too early to judge it fully.

My initial thoughts are it looks like they have done an amazing job overhauling Privilege. It was a pretty massive feat considering the scale and turnaround time of the project.

Personally, I wouldn't like to be in that crowd though, looks too packed. I know some will compare to openings of Space etc, but that never appealed to me for the 20+ years going to Ibiza either.

Am I right in thinking it's just that one room, with another club room as part of the toilets?
If so that's a bit disappointing. Always good to have alternative music options in a club, especially the size of the venue.

Hoping other club nights might break up the dance floor a bit, used to like the podiums in the crowd.

I'd be interested in seeing what the reports are on places to explore inside / outside the venue.

Maybe I'm looking at things through rose tinted glasses, but the character of Ibiza clubs that set them apart from each other seems to have gone. Seems to be designing venues fkr maximum footfall capacity with only room to breathe being in VIP areas.
 
I’m sure each night may add its own flavour and decor but overall I was slightly disappointed (just going off vids)
The main room just looks like a much much bigger version of the main room at hi. The (rectractable?) wall behind the booth that reveals the sunlight is impressive tho!

I also would have preferred at least one smaller room for lesser djs.
I’m not mad about having dj in the toilet as a second room, that’s been and done at hi and the novelty of it already wore off for me.
One of the things I loved about space was getting lost and finding other rooms and djs.
 
I guess that's the thing though, it's more q 'concert' venue than a club

They'll spend big on the big names and people will go to see whoever that is rather than going clubbing

Like Ushuaia I guess
 
Do they have any stage curtains/temporary walls to cut the capacity down for smaller nights?

I can't see every night getting 8k (or whatever capacity they have ended up at in the end)
 
Sunrise ticket-er here (writing this from my taxi home)

We got there about 6:15 and there was one hellll of a queue so I reckon we got actually in just before 7. Was let in via the dome, which isn’t VIP only, and then went down into the main room from there.

I don’t think it looks like Hï at all. It’s a lot more industrial, giving off a Printworks vibe. They way they can control the daylight coming in is next level. After those sunrise shots which are epic, they shut them again for a while (probably so people aren’t reminded it’s daylight 🤣). Was good to get the nighttime feel even after sunrise.

The stairs down to the main dance floor were almost impossible at points, but I don’t think that’ll be the case all summer. They’re of course a great view point as you are up above everyone.

I thinkkkk I found 3 different outdoor areas. One through the burger place, gravity garden on the left of the dance floor and of course the dome. I’m sure there are more, other peoples please tell me where 🤣

Wild Comet is sweatttyyy! 🥵 and a lot more warehousey, much less lights than Wild Corner at Hï. Was in there when Paul Reynolds was playing and it was going off!

Then managed to find the bunker. Not sure whether this will always be accessible - we’ll see I guess!

If I think of anything else to add that others already haven’t, I shall 🤣

I was thinking the same from what I saw on IG. It does have similarities with Hi, but looks less Vegas and more warehousey and interesting, which is good.

Seems like it has more nooks and crannies, which is fun. I wish it had a small separate room with a DJ, but maybe the bathroom is big enough so it feels that way??

I just don’t know how they are going to fill it every night. We’ll see how adaptable that room is to make it smaller, but the ceilings are so tall and vip areas so large idk how the atmosphere is going to be.

Also don’t know how they will fill Hi either. Feels like that place is completely overshadowed since they are similar in many ways. People are gonna want a different vibe with Pacha and Amnesia.

Btw, what is the bunker??
 
If I’m completely honest, I can’t remember where Vista was exactly per the layout of Privilege. I only went twice.

I don’t know how they can segment the room either, especially where the main entrance goes to the top of the stairs which is the open expanse. Maybe they bring the DJ booth more into the room instead? I don’t know.

Bunker is a 3rd small room with a DJ. Quite hidden, not on any signs etc. I wouldn’t class Wild Comet as being big enough to be called a 2nd room. It’s smaller than Wild Corner.

Cool. Was hoping for hidden rooms and areas since the space allows for it.
 
I've been watching a few videos on tiktok of the opening night, seems like lots of talking, not much dancing. Maybe I just need to go see it for real, then make my mind up
