I'd like to add that none of us are angels, he's only a "squirrel trying to get a nut". I don;t agree with the man at all, though a sneaky bit of me admires the chap.

And if you're concerned about the financial impact of it all, then have a look at the gazilions out Government wastes elsewhere.

For example, a trident sub costs more in a second than this guy will cost "us" in his entire lifetime.

yeah but somehow I dont think this bloke would deter say Iran, North Korea or China launching a billion megatonnes of TNT at us, thus making Tridents a necessary evil.

still doesnt make it right tho does it.

building and running a trident sub, (whether you agree we should have nukes or not) creates jobs, and keeps people who actually get off their arses to goto work. which in my opinion is a damn bit more positive than shagging someone half yr age, and getting everyone to pay for their lifestyle.

There are much much much more things that get my goat rather than this guy. And, as I said, there are more things that cost more than his couple of hundred a week.

My only regret is that I feel a bit sorry for the kids, as they'll have , say an odd upbringing, though who the hell am I to dictate what the rich tapestry of life throws at us, iyswim.

And it does smack of "don't hate the playa, hate the game", really.
