1/ Razorlight - America
2/ Editors - Munich
3/ Richard Ashcroft - break the night with colour
The whole album was not bad
The Cicada mix is simply awwesome. If it had a re-edit that lengthened it out and sorted the intro, it's be as good if not better than as JLC's mix of Mr Brightside.
That Razorlight song, and the whole album, is awful, and that's coming from Up All night's biggest fan.
My top 3 would be...
Editors - Munich
Madonna - Get Together (assuming we're counting Hung Up for 2005)
Kanye West - Gold Digga (is that 2005 also?!)
Always wanted to know how did the Mr Brightside so thanks, I loved the Mylo version of Somebody Told Me I have it on the album
I kind of have to agree, I loved Razorlight when I saw them live at V and I was not a big fan before so bought the new album and was slightly disappointed the only one I really like is In the Morning. Not keen on America, way too overplayed on Radio One - I guess that is the disadvantage of having a radio on all day!
Might have to check out the old album instead!

it's a good album with "rip it up" as the stand out track....eh dan?![]()
Sorry, nope? You've lost me? I think you're being a bit too cryptic for a Monday morning!
If you're going to copy Buckers' style...
Well actually I always thought (what I think was) the 8-9-10 trio of Dalston, Golden touch and Stumble and Fall were the master pieces, though I rarely listened to the album, and with the special edition with Somewhere Else as a bonus track, then that could be mentioned in the same breath as those classics. I'd probably add Vice to that list after hearing it live!
Rip it up was ok, and they used it to start all their performances (rightly so) though quite unremarkable as an album track. My apologies, I thought you were trying to refer to, erm, something else (though not the track something else!..) as you were...
