TOP 100 Clubs

What a load of crap :lol: how many small venues are out there that would wipe the floor with a lot of those

Last year at the WLS was the worst day/night i have had at Space. Far far too busy, music seemed very flat everywhere.

I am thinking I just caught it on a bad day though cos i heard mostly good reports from last year across all the nights (strangely the most negative comments were about Sundays)

I have always enjoyed it, for me it is my favourite club I have been to. Although it hasn't been the same since they let 'electro' or whatever on the terrace.

I blame Tom Novy for most of the bad in the world:D

I agree My worst We Love last year... I don't know whats happening with Alfredo but I guess it happens to us all at that age, also Funkagenda reeeaaally not my thing at all. The DJ on first at We Love rocked it and it was all ruined.

Kehakuma and Come together were great nights ..

I don't think Tom Novy is there anymore well I didn't notice him last year... he has very very very bad taste in music

I am not sure of he is or he isn't. but certainly he has been dreadful on that terrace in recent years.

I think this year we are gonna swerve WLS in favour of Cox. Thats the plan anyway, but suppose it will depend on the line ups.
 
Out of the ones ive been to mine would of been
1.Amnesia
2.Pacha
3.MOS
4.Sankeys
5.Pulse

But i havent been to space yet which is a bit of a shocker! Sankeys is ok, but definatley not as good as some people make out, the sound system in there is shocking, MOS does it for me because of the sound system and it was between pacha and amnsia for me out the top 2 but i went for amnesia because i just love the terrace

Added Pulse to complete the list, new club but it was a good venue!

Not to self! Visit more clubs! lol
 
I believe that sankey's used to be great and as soon as it got named best club in the world (rightly or wrongly) it rapidly went down hill due to people not going there cos of the bookings and great vibe going on but going there because its been named the best club in the world.

same with all of the poser's that attend club nights in ibiza (space opening last year) and don't dance but just clog up the dance floor standing there just to say they've attended a certain party.

I've been to 8 of the top 20 and have to say out of them it has to be DC10 for me and especially the terrace when its still light. would have loved to have been able to see the terrace at space b4 they roofed it!

before Sankeys was totally made over it used to be class. The old Tribal Sessions nights in there were epic.

I will always go to WLS as long as Wooly is there...he's sometimes there every other week though so if he wasn't well I Dunno I think I'd still go just incase.. I always want to relive that first time on the terrace

and Steve Lawler played an awesome tribal set there year before last so don't sign him off yet :D

Lawler is very different in Space than in clubs in the UK in my view.

I've only seen him twice once in space where he did the tribal set and in Rennaissance in Pacha where he played a really dark eerie tech house set, both were amazing although I've not liked soem of his pocasts so much maybe he is suffering with SAD? The really weird thing was that Eric Prydz of all people played before him in Rennaissance and also played some awesome tech house... bizarre
 
The club choices for me depends on music first, atmosphere/ crowd second, sound system, DJ and last but not least light show. I have found that a so so night in Ibiza beat a great night in lots of clubs. It is all about the vibe. The club scene in the USA sometime they play shockingly main stream music. The place that have a mixed crowds IE big gayers (c) MarkB have better music policies and more open minded crowds.

I love those 5-6am moments when there are only < 100 people left. They are always the 'right' people :D


I don't mean Sankeys though never been there
