Tip for anyone wanting to lose weight

I lost a stone and a half in the first six weeks of this year...easy, just by going to the gym 5 days a week and doing an hour of cardio and also not eating any crap food.

Of course, dancing for 20 hours and not eating between Friday lunchtime and Sunday night seems to work pretty well too

This is the approach I have been taking lately  Is less painfull too and feels good at the time ;)

I swear by this form of keep fit too

That, combined with a weekday regimen of 'point and click' hand and finger exercises

..... Stir fry's!

Been having them every night for 2 weeks and lost 1 stone! 8O

My long lost 6-pack is almost back too.

:D

Thoroughly agree with you..... since cutting out carbs past 6.00pm that's all I can be arsed to cook when I get in - kept a stone off since Jan. AND it doesnt feel like a diet because all that veg fills you up!!

I too am cultivating a nice little stomach, when you combine it all with squash and 200 sit ups every night .... ;)

PL, what do you eat then in the evenings? I get home at about 6.30pm each night, normally I start cooking then, and most nights dont actually finish my meal until gone 8pm/ Obviously that food is going to be lying on my stomach all night, and not digesting. I just dont know what to do, short of not eating in the evenings at all :?

Anything I want as long as its not rice, pasta, pots or bread. You can go a bit daft starting to look up carb content on everything you eat, but I just stick to the 4 main carbs above. I try to avoid lager too as that is high in carbs, but generally, I will cook stir fries (beef, pork prawn or chicken, scrambled eggs (2) with sausage or bacon, or smoked salmon with mushrooms, onions, tomatoes (but only twice a week) . I usually make a big pan of soup (veg or chicken) and freeze it for through the week. Its pretty easy to follow and in no way feels like a diet.... Oh and I always keep loads of raw veg or fruit to snack on for about 9.00pm when I get an urge for seconds...

BTW - a BIG no no is crisps (after 6.00pm) soooooo much fat and carb.

im on the crunchy nut cereal diet 2 bowls a day and somthing like rice and chilli or stirfrys and gym bout 3 times a week but to be honst im not fussed about how i look its just eating well makes me feel better

i have limited my carb intake to a minimum, eat these carb blocker pills and have started exercising 2-3 times a week, cardio.....
it helps!!!

I've been vegan for the past three months and I've lost 50 lbs. I don't know how much that is in freaky-deaky stone, but that's a friggin lot I'll tell you that much! Click on the link below to see my latest photo and one from last year and compare; like before and after photos.

Remember I'm 6'4", so those 50lbs left my entire 6'4" frame, so you might not be able to see it as good as say a 5' woman. Check my neck, You can really see it around my neck.

nutts are big nono´s when on a regular diet, on a carbless diet they are essential because you need oils

Since when were nuts a big no no on a regular diet?

I'm not into this low carb crap - I love my carbs! mmmm could really eat some mcdonalds fries now.

Is everyone into the low carb thing then?

Carbs that are contained in fruit/veg are good. Starchy carbs such as potatoes, bread, pasta, rice (white) are bad as they mess with your insulin levels and cause lathargy, bloating, fat storage.

I've drastically reduced the amount of potatoes, bread etc i eat and never felt better.
