Tiesto vs PvD

I might be going a bit other the top,but alot of tunes in his sets are his own remixes/edits/tunes ,thats wot ive found anyway just trying to find some track listings now.

 Noticed it five minutes ago...I've been thinking about sending the caretaker over so we can open early but it's probably not a good idea.

well over the top lol! i see where your coming from though mate....he doesnt play many of his own tunes but he tends to edit alot of others usually with a tougher bassline etc his sets are always quality he really knows how to get a crowd going crazy! my favourite dj and probably always will be while hes still on the scene

as someone who loves house music more than trance i'd say PVD coz his sets seem to have a bit more umph about them! know what i mean! phatter basslines rather than loads of strings

it's all about the bassline! :P

well said! carlos you aint the carlos from the addiction days are you???

ive got to admit ive just been listening to Tiesto - Traffic.....and this is one good thing that has come from tiesto!

I don't even think you can compare the two. Their styles are totally different. I've seen PvD 6 times in the last year and a half, and his style is so hard I would hesitate to call it trance anymore.. It just isn't trance- it's really hard, edgy tunes with thick basslines and the occassional build up.
Tiesto is way more trance-y

This is very true. PVD doesn't really play tunes where it's all cheesy hands in the air moments and cheesy female vocals. I hate all that crap. If you look at some of his tracklists you'll find lots of techy house tunes but he plays them about 10 times faster so they sound a bit different.
